Coheed and Cambria recently worked with Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger to record the band’s new song, “Dark Side of Me”. Einziger is now streaming the song on SoundCloud.

“Coheed & Cambria’s manager asked me if I’d be interested in working with the band. The collaboration came about in a really organic way,” Einziger told KROQ. “Claudio, the singer of Coheed & Cambria, came out and stayed with me at my house in Malibu for a couple of days. Mike Einziger (Incubus) In Studio With The Internet

Mike Einziger, guitarist for alternative rock band Incubus, has always kept himself busy on Incubus’ breaks, between going to Harvard for music and side projects like Time Lapse Cosrtium. The guitarist has now shown a picture of him in the studio working with hip hop duo The Internet.

What his role is with the trip hop band is unknown at this point. The Internet is also on tour. See the Tweet from Einziger and the tour dates from The Internet after the break.

Brandon Boyd, lead vocalist of alternative band Incubus, has recently done an interview pertaining to the music industry. The video, done for former Epic Records executive and current Incubus manager Steve Rennie, is a rather informative (and lengthy) discussion about how management has helped them and mistakes they made as a band in the past. Anyone interested in learning a little about the music industry and everyone who considers themself an Incubus fan should watch the video.

New Material From Incubus Side-Project Time Lapse Consortium to Come

During 2003, Incubus guitarist Mike Enziger started a side-project called Time Lapse Consortium. It was from this side project that he began working with the (then) Roots guitarist and (now) Incubus-bassist, Ben Kenney.

Although Incubus has already said they will slow down after the Honda 2012 tour with Linkin Park that spans across the United States, Einziger has publicly announced that he plans to record another album with Time Lapse Consortium. He did so in a Q&A session with fans on Twitter earlier this month.

Incubus Announce Hiatus After Summer Tour

Incubus Unveil ‘Incubus HQ Live’ Multi-Disc Albums

Incubus fans are in for a huge surprise today because the group has announced three separate multi-disc packages, entitled Incubus HQ Live. This August release (recorded in West Hollywood) features a live album, the second a live album and DVD, and a double CD live album with an accompanying DVD. Gigantic!

Linkin Park Unveil ‘Living Things’ Artwork

In an effort to keep their fans anxious for the release, Linkin Park have unveiled the official album artwork for Living Things.

The group are prepped to release Living Things on June 26 through Warner Bros. Records. Linkin Park And Incubus Headline 2012 Honda Civic Tour

Linkin Park and Incubus have been revealed as the official headlining acts for this years Honda Civic Tour and UTG has the details right here.

The groups will headline the event, with direct support coming from MuteMath on all dates. This tour will begin on August 11 in Virginia and end in San Diego on September 10 so grab your tickets when they become available!
