UTG PHOTOS: Incubus & Deftones in Camden, NJ (8/8/15)

It’s a tour package you dream of as you listen to Mike Enzinger’s cutting riff at the start of “Circles” from Incubus‘ 2001 album, Morning View, or when you’re opening up the vinyl packaging from Deftones‘ acclaimed White Pony. Liken it to the “band” version of fantasy football where you pick two of your favorite bands to go on a co-headlining tour. If you look at it, Incubus and Deftones are on that similar path from being veteran bands who will release music that fans will always resonate with. Hits on hits on hits. To say …

Incubus “Trust Fall” Into Us With a Lyric Video

So Incubus is back, and without mercy. Just the other day, the band shared their first new song in years, titled “Absolute Calling.” The song was no shock and awe, as it seemed to be a continuance of the most recent work from the band.

But this time, with the release of the second song, “Trust Fall,” it sounds like they may have journeyed with a time machine back to the A Crow Left of the Murder era.

The song is a crazy six minutes long, that takes turns left and right, and is an exciting listen. If …

Incubus Break Their Silence With Brand New Song, “Absolute Calling”

California five-piece Incubus have previously announced that they will be putting out two new EPs this year under their new label, Island Records, some time during the first half of the year.

In conjunction with this much-anticipated news, the band has finally given us a taste of what is to come via a brand new single entitled “Absolute Calling.” As you quickly begin to notice they’ve channeled more trance-y/electronic elements in this new track, you also begin to realize that it is a fitting, present-day move, especially with their most recent offering, If Not Now, When?, stemming all the …

Incubus Will Be Releasing Two New EPs in 2015

After a quiet couple years, with side/solo projects taking over much of that time, renowned alternative rockers Incubus are ready to make a big comeback for 2015. This is the newest material the band has recorded since 2011’s If Not Now, When? which was released on Epic Records.

This time around, the band has signed with Island Records and will be releasing two EPs through the course of the year, with production done by the band themselves. The two EPs will contain enough songs on each release to combine into an album, with the first one coming out as early …

UTG INTERVIEW: Steve Rennie, Manager of Incubus, Founder Of Renman Music & Business

From time to time, a chance to interview someone we’ve long admired comes up that we simply cannot resist. He’s now started his own website for those who want to learn about the music industry, Renman Music & Business (or RenmanMB), and launched an Indiegogo campaign to support it. We were able to catch up with him on a Friday before the itch to golf took over.
