Bloc Party In The Studio Recording New EP

Well, at least that’s what it appears like. Bloc Party posted a picture on their Instagram of a studio space with the caption, “Where the magic is happening.”

Earlier this year, the news broke that Bloc Party would be hitting the studio this spring to record a new EP. According to News-Press Now in Missouri, the new tracks will feature 4 songs that were not recorded on their 2012 release, Four. Whether or not they can catch lightning in a bottle again has yet to be seen. Secrets

Secrets Recording New Material

Things have been pretty quiet since the San Diego based post hardcore outfit known as Secrets released their debut album with Rise Records. According to their Facebook page they hit the studio March 31 to start recording their sophomore album. There aren’t any details available as of yet about the album itself, according to some tweets from the band they have indicated they hope to have the album ready to go by Warped Tour. Enter Shikari

Enter Shikari Return To The Studio

Enter Shikari have recently announced via Facebook status that they’re in the middle of a quick stay at a studio to record three new songs “just for the hell of it”.

The band will be recording their long-awaited follow up to their third full length release, A Flash Flood Of Colour, and have actually brought back the entire production team that made AFFOC happen for this project.

Shortly after this, the band will be heading out on two short run tours of the US and of the UK before returning to the studio once more.

Sparta Working On Their Fourth Record

Once upon a time, At The Drive In split up into two bands, The Mars Volta and Sparta. The Mars Volta gained a ton of fame, and Sparta gained a little. At The Drive In got back together, and then Sparta stayed quiet. Now Sparta has announced via Instagram that they have begun working on their fourth album.

Mike Einziger (Incubus) In Studio With The Internet

Mike Einziger, guitarist for alternative rock band Incubus, has always kept himself busy on Incubus’ breaks, between going to Harvard for music and side projects like Time Lapse Cosrtium. The guitarist has now shown a picture of him in the studio working with hip hop duo The Internet.

Relient K Announce Summer Tour

Relient K have announced a summer tour with Hellogoodbye, William Beckett, and House of Heroes. Relient K have been in the studio recording for a new album. No word on when the band plans on releasing the album.

The tour will be hitting cities in the South and West coast, starting July 22nd and ending on August 11th.

Twenty One Pilots Are In The Studio

New signees of Fueled By Ramen, Twenty One Pilots are working on a new EP to release on the label. The band is also hoping to release a full length album on Fueled By Ramen by the end of the year. Once done recording their EP the band will embark on a wide range national tour, which will be announced soon.
