MUSIC VIDEO: The Early November – “Tell Me Why”

The Early November are buzzworthy. The band has teamed up with MTV’s Buzzworthy Blog to premiere the video for the track, “Tell Me Why,” from their 2012 album, In Currents. Having featured their single and title track, “In Currents,” on the MTV blog in October 2012, this marks the second time the band has been deemed buzzworthy within the past 12 months. Not too bad for a band coming off a hiatus.

MTV asked guitarist/keyboardist, Joe Marro, about working with director Trevor Bowman and how he interoperates the video’s final product,

The Early November released their new visuals for the title track “In Currents.”

TEN’s In Currents hit stores in July and was reviewed by UTG’s own Grace Duffy. Pick up the Rise Records release on iTunes if you have not already.

The Early November will begin the upcoming US tour, with Cartel and Seahaven, soon so be sure to check out the dates for this run on their official website.

The Early November Release Teaser Video

The Early November have released a teaser clip for the band’s upcoming music video for their song “In Currents”, the title track off the group’s latest record. The full video doesn’t have an official release date yet, though the band promises it should be soon.

The Early November Announce Fall Headlining Tour

Indie rock outfit The Early November have announced a fall headlining tour featuring support from Cartel. The tour will kick off October 5 and will run for a little over two weeks, wrapping on October 20.

The Early November just released their new record, In Currents, the band’s first since  they announced they would be reforming. Check out the tour dates below and be sure to pick up the new record out now on Rise Records.

After taking a prolonged (and premature) hiatus from the music world, The Early November mark their return with an album of beautiful highs and crushing lows. In Currents is clearly a labour of love, something sweet and deftly understated, though it waivers towards the end and becomes a little too forced to really convince. The album mixes grace with spirit and sumptuously interweaves classical elements and strings to add light to the main instruments. It’s a rewarding listen, although Ace Enders’ vocals can overdo it at times, but …

UTG had the opportunity to speak with guitarist and keyboardist Joseph Marro about the band’s return, their newest album, and Ace Enders’ likeness to the lovably indie Michael Cera. Read through and get caught up with The Early November!

WATCH: The Early November Cover Coldplay’s “Yellow,” Joined by Soupy Onstage

Last night The Early November played their record release show for their latest album, In Currents. At that show, the band covered a Coldplay classic and “it was called ‘Yellow.’”  Oh yea, and Soupy from The Wonder Years came out for some guest vocals on “Fluxy.”

A couple fans were able to capture some video of the cover for those who couldn’t make it to Philadelphia last night and for that, we thank them. I’d personally love to hear a studio recording of this cover  by the band. Am I alone?

New Jersey rockers The Early November have released a stream of their brand new song “A Stain On The Carpet” and Under The Gun Review has the stream right here!

Alternative Press is premiering a new song by New Jersey indie rockers, The Early November, called “Frayed in Doubt.” The track comes off of TEN’s forthcoming third full-length, In Currents, which will drop on 10 July via Rise Records. Check out the track by clicking here.

VIDEO: The Early November Album Teaser

The Early November released a teaser video for their new album In Currents, and man does it get your blood pumping. This is the band’s first release since 2006′s The Mother, The Mechanic, and the Path, and it’s also the band’s first release on Rise Records. The video takes an acoustic track and layers it over some high energy live footage.

The video is a really fun watch, and you get to see how happy the band is to be playing again. This is exciting news to see The Early November on their way back into the spotlight, …
