I See Stars Borrow From Bane For “Can We Start Again;” Announce Digital Mixtape ‘Renegades Forever’

Michigan’s I See Stars have returned to the UTG headlines with the release of a new song and the promise of more to come in the (very) near future.

“Can We Start Again” is the first song to surface from I See Stars since the 2012 release of Digital Renegade. The song, which started as a b-side, features guest vocals from Frankie Palmeri of Emmure and Mattie Montgomery, as well as lyrics from the legendary hardcore group Bane. This is not a cover per se, but rather a reinterpretation of lyrics for the purpose of inspiring a new scene …

I See Stars Appear On The Warrior Show

If there’s one worthwhile YouTube video to watch tonight, it’s  I See Stars‘ appearance on the most recent episode of The Warrior Show.

Essentially, The Warrior Show follows James Hellwig (otherwise known as The Ultimate Warrior) training bands physically and mentally. One other notable tidbit is that the episode was filmed at Rise Above Fitness, a gym owned by Brandan Schieppati of Bleeding Through. Nothing’s funnier and more inspiring than watching these guys get coached by the former WWE wrestler.

Follow the jump for a stream of the show.

UTG PHOTOS: Asking Alexandria, I See Stars, Memphis May Fire, & As I Lay Dying (12/1/12)

Under The Gun sent Head of Photography, Kellie Gannon, to the Monster Energy Tour on December 1, 2012 in Cleveland.

As everyone in the history of the world knows, December is always the most hectic and strenuous month of the year (the Mayans can especially vouch for this, damn those guys).  At the beginning of the month, I attended the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour featuring Attila, I See Stars, Memphis May Fire, As I Lay Dying, and Asking Alexandria.  Then somehow December took over and I managed to finish a huge photo project, Bachelor’s degree, prep to move, and discover …

Warped Tour Makes First Band Announcement

This year’s Vans Warped Tour is making its band announcements on Fuse with episodes of Warped Roadies. The first announcement came tonight, with six bands being announced. The six bands? Woe Is Me, I See Stars, Go Radio, The Story So Far, Like Moths To Flames, and Big Chocolate. In addition to these six bands, two other bands have been confirmed in some way: Forever Came Calling were apparently told by Warped founder Kevin Lyman himself that they’d be playing, and Lyman also told Kerrang! Magazine that Bring Me The Horizon would be playing. …

I See Stars Added To Outbreak Tour

In light of Mitch Luker’s (Suicide Silence) untimely passing, Sumerian Records has opted to add I See Stars to the lineup of this year’s Monster Outbreak Tour. These guys are by no means meant to replace Suicide Silence, as no one would be able to. I personally think they got added on by Sumerian due to the fact that they were recently kicked off The Thug In Me Is You tour.

The announcement of I See Stars being added was made on Asking Alexandria‘s Facebook page. Ben Bruce had some very kind words to say about Mitch …

UTG PHOTOS: The Thug In Me Is You Tour

Under The Gun sent Head of Photography Kellie Gannon to shoot the Thug In Me Is You Tour at House of Blues Cleveland on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. This review reflects the opinions of the author, not the entirety of Under The Gun Review’s staff.

Halloween night, I attended the Thug In Me Is You Tour at House of Blues Cleveland. Headlining the tour was Falling In Reverse, with support from far superior bands including Letlive, I See Stars, and Enter Shikari. To be completely honest, I initially did not want to review or even shoot FIR. I’ll get …

Ronnie Radke Responds to I See Stars-Sumerian Statements; UTG Sighs

Reporting news can be both exhilarating and exhausting. Defining news is… subjective. One thing is for sure. Once we start a story, we follow through. Let’s take it from the top.

First, Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse kicked I See Stars off of the Thug In Me Is You Tour. Then a fight broke out. Then I See Stars and their label, Sumerian Records released this joint statement. Now Radke is taking to social media to continue stirring the already churning pot.

On an Instagram post, Radke had the following to say:

Ladies and gentlemen, lend me

Sumerian Records Releases New Statement About Ronnie Radke

‎Just when we hoped the drama that had its place in St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit last night was through, more details have come to light about the situation.

After I See Stars were removed from the Thug In Me Is You Tour by Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse, a fight broke out between the two parties. Then I See Stars released a statement quickly addressing the situation, promising more details later.

Now is later. Here is what the band and their label, Sumerian Records, had to say:

I See Stars / Falling In Reverse Fight Breaks Out

Pup Fresh is now reporting that a fight has broken out between Ronnie Radke of Falling in Reverse and I See Stars.

Earlier, we reported that Radke had decided to kick the band off of their tour after being unprofessional and consistently late. I See Stars’ publicist informed us that as far as they knew, they would be performing tonight but wouldn’t be continuing with the tour.

From what we’ve gathered, ISS showed up (intoxicated) to the Thug In Me Is You Tour, but they did not play. When they arrived, Ronnie Radke went to their bus and a …

I See Stars Kicked Off The Thug In Me Is You Tour

UPDATE: I See Stars have posted their own statement about their removal from tour. A statement from Sumerian Records pending.

We have been kicked off the Falling In Reverse Tour by Ronnie Radke. It has nothing to do with “drugs” or “being late” His statement is entirely false. An official statement from Sumerian Records showing the truth of why we were removed is coming. All emails and contracts have been documented and will be shown publicly in the response to Ronnie’s post. You will find out exactly what happened and you will be disgusted to say the least. We promise
