Continuing his seemingly slow return to the music scene, a new remix from Childish Gambino has begun making its way around the country.
Adding a fresh take to Young Dro’s “FDB,” which is apparently making some noise at radio, Gambino brings his quick-tongued, clean vocals to a track ripe with aggression. His verse updates fans on how his life has changed as of late, including discussing his new home, and even finds time to poke fun at Rick Ross’ recently rape-lyric scandal. You can stream a radio rip of the remix at the end of this post.
It’s clear Childish …

Juicy’s at it again. This time, he’s decided to have The Weeknd drop in on the track.
This hot new Juicy J track was just dropped on the world today, and it absolutely kills. What really makes the track stick out is The Weeknd‘s soulful vocal style which adds to the song’s overall relaxed feeling. Keep an eye out for Juicy’s next album, Stay Trippy, which is due out later this year.

Lil Wayne is back with a club cut. Featuring a smooth beat from Mike WILL Made It – a prolific guy who is slated to be the hip-hop production equivalent of 2013 to what 2 Chainz was to guest features in 2012 – “Love Me”, off the upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II, is a banger for the ladies that will probably prove to have some crossover appeal. Or did the (barely there) Drake feature not tip you off?
Yeah, he’s there, splitting hook duties with Future. Drake does his Drake thing and Future does his …
There are a lot of bands that come out of the woodwork and knock us on our asses, but finding a truly great up and coming hip hop artist is something a bit more special. Such is the case when it comes to California-bred …

Saying Chris Brown‘s name sort of leaves this odd taste in your mouth. Even if you’re slinging mud, you’re still touching mud… and that’s just dirty.
Moving along, here’s a round-up of what we’ve recently come to find since yesterday’s reports. Included are reports of the reasons for the fight, reports on the absence of a fight altogether, how serious Ocean is on handling the matter, and Brown’s recent public reference on the ordeal.
