Piracy Sucks! That Said, Check Out This Rip Of The Comic-Con “Evil Dead” Footage

We never want to encourage anyone to pirate media, but sometimes footage hits the net that cannot be denied. This is one of those cases.

Last weekend, attendees of the New York Comic-Con were among the first in the world to see footage from the forthcoming remake of Evil Dead. Social networks exploded with praise and excitement shortly after the footage premiered, which left the rest of us kicking the dirt in a fit of jealousy, but now everyone can sort-of enjoy the goods thanks to some asshole with a cell phone.

Until it’s removed by the mysterious powers …

OMG: Asking Alexandria Premiere “Run Free” In New Jersey (Video)

Asking Alexandria are finally dusting off the wheels of album promotion and getting back to releasing music with the recent live premiere of a future single entitled “Run Free.” The song was first performed (to our knowledge) during a performance in Holmdel, New Jersey over the past week and now, thanks to YouTube, everyone can enjoy what Sumerian’s best imports have been working on.

Before we let you enjoy the clip, please take note that this recording was captured by a fan during a live performance. Please do your best to not pass judgment on the track overall until something …

STREAM: Metallica – Just A Bullet Away (Unreleased “Death Magnetic” B-Side)

Another week, another unearthed rarity from Metallica’s pre-Lulu days in hopes of reminding fans why they pay so much to see them live.

Uploaded by the band just a few short hours ago, “Just A Bullet Away” is the second song to surface from the Death Magnetic sessions since the band’s 30th anniversary. Much like “Hate Train,” this song, to us, sounds much better than the actual album. You can stream the song for yourself in original, raw form by clicking past the jump.

It is good to be reminded that Metallica were once better than they were throughout …

Bringing together heavyweights Andre 3000, Jay-Z, and Young Jeezy, “I Do” is destined to be one of the more discussed tracks off TM103. The beat is banging, the verses deliver with masterful skill, and not one artist outshines the other. You can stream, download, and enjoy the track after the jump.

Young Jeezy has been dominating our newsfeed recently and don’t expect his promo train to slow until well after the December release of TM103. Stay tuned for …

Frank Ocean Premiere “Super Rich Kids” In Los Angeles

Frank Ocean performed in front of a sold out crowd in Los Angeles last night and this morning we have footage of Ocean performing a brand new song entitled “Super Rich Kids.”

Ocean debuted the song in the midst of a set that included material from his Nostalgia record, as well a performance of “She” with OFWGKTA’s Tyler, The Creator. You can view the performance after the jump.

Ocean has been riding a wave of sold out shows recently, but it’s hard to argue that guy doesn’t deserve it. Though many may argue he’s already exploded, Ocean is still rising …

STREAM/DOWNLOAD: Drake ft. Lil Wayne – The Motto

Drake stopped by Power 106 in Los Angeles last night to premiere one of the three tracks featuring YMCMB boss Lil Wayne from his upcoming album, Take Care. Did you miss it? No worries, we have all the goods right here on UTG.

Produced by T-Minus, “The Motto” gives fans a taste of Take Care‘s more energetic side with Drizzy and Weezy swapping verses of ego and lifestyle. Considering the emotionally heavy material Drake has been putting on display throughout 2011, it’s refreshing to hear he still knows how to throw a party as well. Check it out …
