Carrie Fisher Confirms Her Return As Princess Leia In ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’

I’m starting to think we might as well have a weekly roundup column dedicated to Star Wars news and rumors…

While the world waits to find out whether or not Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford will reprise their roles in the Star Wars franchise when JJ Abrams takes the helm for Epsiode VII in 2015, another key performer from the original series has confirmed her plans to return.

Speaking with Palm Beach Illustrated, Carrie Fisher was blatantly asked her connection to Star Wars: Episode VII with the question, “Can you confirm whether you’ll reprise the role of Princess Leia?” …

Mark Hamill in the Talks to Reprise his Role as Luke Skywalker in New Star Wars Film

Not surprising but nevertheless exciting: the hero of the original Star Wars trilogy, Mark Hamill, is in the talks to return to his character of Luke Skywalker in the newest Star Wars film. According to Entertainment Weekly, Hamill has been waiting to meet with writer Michael Ardnt and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy about what his involvement would be like in the film, but everyone has been really busy because, you know, they’re in the process of making a new Star Wars film and things get hectic.

That being said, Hamill is really interested in putting his jedi cloak back …

RUMOR: Harrison Ford Confirmed for Star Wars: Episode VII

Well now that we have a director confirmed, it’s time for an onslaught of casting rumors. Latino Review (who all things considered is a relatively trustworthy source) has announced that director J.J. Abrams has confirmed Harrison Ford to reprise his role as Han Solo in the next installment in the Stars Wars series.

Now, I know most Star Wars fans are hyperventilating, and I just caught my breath too. But until I hear it directly from Disney themselves, I’m going to take every rumor with a huge grain of salt. However this casting rumor isn’t totally unreasonable. Harrison Ford has …

WATCH: First Trailer For Jackie Robinson Biopic “42″

Baseball has been America’s past time for longer than I can recall without using Wikipedia. Hollywood recognizes this, and has cashed in repeatedly over the years with films centered around Baseball (Field Of Dreams and Moneyball to name a few). Warner Bros is hoping to continue this winning streak with 42, the story of Jackie Robinson’s rise through the …

Clint Eastwood, Nicolas Cage, Harrison Ford, Jackie Chan for Expendables 3?

Producer Avi Lerner recently sat down with Total Film to discuss The Expendables 2 and the possibility of The Expendables 3.  Avi announced that they were talking with Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford, and Wesley Snipes for various roles, but the only one who he confirmed for Expendables 3 is the one and only Nicolas Cage.

How many action stars can you fit into a movie? Last month at ComicCon Jackie Chan spoke of his desire to be involved in The Expendables Franchise.

DAMMIT: Harrison Ford Rumored To Be In Talks For Blade Runner Sequel

twitchfilm.com is reporting that Harrison Ford is in talks to be in the Blade Runner sequel. The upcoming Ridley Scott project has been confirmed for some time now, but this is new information. Considering that producer Andrew Kosove has been quoted saying that the new Blade Runner project will have nothing to do with Harrison Ford this can only be confirmed as a rumor at this time.

Now, there are several reasons Grandpa Solo cannot be in this movie. Setting aside the fact that the man is 400 years old and sounds like a cross between Mush Mouth and a …
