MUSIC VIDEO: A$AP Rocky – Wassup

Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky has released the brand new music video for the song “Wassup” and it is truly a wild adventure. The video takes different elements from the artist’s favorite movies including Scarface, Belly, Enter The Dragon, The Warriors and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. It incorporates plenty of 40s, Ferrari’s, cash and much more.

This track comes off of Rocky’s latest mixtape, LiveLoveA$AP, and can be downloaded by heading right here.

A$AP Mob North American Tour

A$AP Rocky and his A$AP Mob are planning to take over the touring scene this year and they have recently announced more dates. Going from supporting Drake and Kendrick Lamar to dropping a brand new mixtape, this guy is the real deal.

A$AP Rocky will be touring with his group, the A$AP Mob, which starts off Buffalo on January 26 and wraps in Atlanta on February 11. He will then hop back on the second leg of Drake’s headlining tour after that. Quite the busy start to this year.

On The Rise: Harlem

Courtesy: Stereogum

Austin trio Harlem opened the Emo’s show last night that found Jay Reatard getting jumped by a couple of angry (and drunken) show-goers. The guys are known for their frantic live shows, so maybe they’re to blame for getting the crowd worked up into such a froth? Who knows, but you can take a listen to the hometown heroes’ bouncy surf-garage ditty “Friendly Ghost,” the lead track from their forthcoming Matador debut Hippies. This new collection follows 2008′s Free Drugs, which makes perfect sense: Hippies are fucking cheap.
