James Iha, axe slinger most famous for his time with The Smashing Pumpkins during their heyday, has been keeping himself mighty busy since he split with Billy Corgan and co.

Just don’t expect everything he does to sound even remotely Pumpkins-esque. Iha manages to split his time between a couple of different bands, including A Perfect Circle and Tinted Windows, a supergroup with members from Hanson and Cheap Trick (!!!).

The finger-pointing has begun against Kings Of Leon and leading the charge is not who you’d think. Zac Hanson, the eldest Hanson brother, has called out KOL for “acting like pricks” in a recent interview with NME. Below you can view one of many statements directed toward the group and their approach toward fans and the music industry.

I’m gonna call somebody out on it – the Kings Of Leon are running some risks. They’re irritating people and you can’t do that too much. Eventually the bad boy image affects fans’ willingness to show up.

Hanson unveil their Musical Ride Tour

Hanson have unveiled the initial touring dates for their career-spanning Musical Ride Tour. On this tour Hanson’s fans will be given the chance to vote online to select the album they want to hear each night. Voting will take place on the band’s website starting on July 11 and ticket pre-sale will begin on July 8.
