Fresh from their recent win at the Grammy Awards, Arcade Fire head to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to play a surprise show at Hotel Oloffson on March 29th. Vocalist Regine Chassagne is daughter to Haitian immigrants and states that this was a very important performance to the band. In efforts they raised over $1 Million in post earthquake relief. March 20th, 2011 Melanie At approximately 11 PM last night (March 19) Wyclef Jean was shot in the hand by a local in Delmas, Haiti. Luckily, the wound was only superficial and he was released from the hospital after treatment. The hip-hop star was in the country to support Michel Martelly’s run for president. No additional details have been released by either those associated with Wyclef or the Haitian police
