There is so much heartbreak in writing this article. As someone who didn’t get into anything beyond radio music until his late teens (and I mean late), there is still a spot in my heart for Guns N’ Roses. Part of me wants (or wanted) to see them live, reunion lineup or no, just so I could have seen these songs sung live by a no-longer-fat Axl Rose.

Axl Rose and company shall be taking up residence beneath the gaudy lights of Las Vegas this coming October, it seems. The beleaguered frontman shall take time out of his busy schedule of being robbed and objectifying women to play a series of shows at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with the current incarnation of Guns ‘n’ Roses. Guns N’ Roses Request 20 Young Female Models To Fill The Front Row At An Upcoming Gig

Axl Rose has never been one to play it tame, and his latest shenanigans are no different.

According to an article on DailyRecord, Guns N’ Roses have requested 20 beautiful female models, ages 19-23, be placed in the front row for the band’s upcoming performance in Glasgow.

That’s right: Models, not fans, come first.

Apparently, someone from GnR hired All Talent – The Sonia Scott Agency – to recruit the girls. As compensation for appearing at the gig, the girls will be granted backstage access after the concert, as well as the opportunity to party with the band.

On this day in in 1995, Stone Temple Pilots eccentric lead singer, Scott Weiland, was arrest in Pasadena, California on  cocaine and heroin possession charges. It was the first of his several drug-related arrests. Weiland claims that he was first introduced to heroin when vocalist Gibby Haynes gave Weiland some of the drug while Stone Temple Pilots was on tour with Hayne’s Butthole Surfers (oh…the band names in the 1990s). Haynes denies Weiland’s allegations.

Guns N’ Roses have unveiled plans to tour the UK this Spring.

Breaking across the blogosphere earlier today, Guns N’ Roses will be hopping across the pond after wrapping their US shows later this Spring. Every date made public up to this point can be found below:
