Attila Guitarist Parts Ways With Band

Metalcore outfit Attila recently kicked off their album release cycle for Guilty Pleasure with the release of a brand new single in “Proving Grounds,” but slightly less pleasurable news has come from the band’s camp today. According to a post on guitarist Nate Salameh’s personal Facebook page, he has amicably parted ways with the band in order to focus on removing drugs and alcohol from his life alongside pursuing a career in producing.

The Faceless Part Ways With Guitarist, Confirm New Material Is On The Way

Earlier today, The Faceless announced that they would be parting ways with their guitarist Wes Hauch, who has been with the band for just over two years, and contributed to their most recent LP, Autotheism, which dropped back in 2012 via Sumerian Records.

Going off a statement issued by the group, it would seem that this departure was a mutual decision between both parties:

Mayday Parade

Mayday Parade Post Studio Update

Mayday Parade have been working hard in the studio to release the follow-up to their 2011 self-titled album. The band posted a studio update via YouTube, which focuses on guitarists Alex and Brooks as they record guitar parts, speak on equipment usage, and song structure.

Staind guitarist Mike Mushok announced that he has joined the band Newsted. Newsted has been built around former Metallica and Voivod bassist Jason Newsted.

Thomas Erak (Ex-Fall Of Troy) Joins Chiodos

Michigan’s hard rock act Chiodos has officially announced Thomas Erak (ex-Fall Of Troy) as their new guitarist. The decision comes two months after Jason Hale parted ways with the group.

In an announcement video released this morning, Erak introduces himself to fans, gives some insight into his musical background, and hints at a small change in sound on Chiodos’ new material. You can view the announcement blow.
