Real Friends

Real Friends Stream ‘Put Yourself Back Together’ EP

Chicago pop punk favorites Real Friends have released a stream of their new EP, Put Yourself Back Together.

Offering up another fitting edition to their unique brand of pop punk, Put Yourself Back Together is another heartbroken, emo-referencing collection of basement anthems for crowded venues with poor equipment and walls drenched in sweat. No song strays too far outside the standard Real Friends sound, in fact one could say it’s a by-the-book offering at best, but if their sound is what makes your heart race and knees shake you’ll be happy to have spent time awaiting its release. You …

Hit The Lights Perform “Bodybag” With Colin Ross And Nick Thompson

Hit The Lights were filmed performing their song “Bodybag” with original vocalist Colin Ross as well as Nick Thompson in Boston last week.

The group made this special occasion happen at Glamour Kills’ A Very GK! Holiday Festival on December 14 in Boston, MA. The event featured bands like The Wonder Years, State Champs, This Time Next Year, Class Of ’92, The Dangerous Summer and many more.

UTG honestly does not know how long it has been since Colin has graced the stage with Hit The Lights but it was well worth the experience.

Label: Unsigned

Chicago pop-punk group Real Friends recently released a three song EP with Glamour Kills called Three Songs About the Past Year of My Life. Real Friends have jumped into the spotlight pretty fast, and while they aren’t selling out mid-level venues, they have a growing fan-base that doesn’t show any sign of stopping. However with their new EP Real Friends creates some catchy tunes but doesn’t really add anything more to their sound.

Craig Owens Solo Tour Rescheduled

He’s back! (again)

A few months ago, a Craig Owens solo tour was announced and then subsequently canceled for personal reasons. This bummed out ticket holders who had the option to get a refund or wait it out for a new announcement. Those who patiently waited now have that announcement.
