January 27th, 2010 Grant Trimboli JAN 27 – Equal Vision Records is pleased to welcome to its’ roster Places And Numbers – the electronic-tinged solo outfit of former Gatsby’s American Dream guitarist, Bobby Darling.
Using his connections with an airline, Darling was able to send himself, producer/friend Casey Bates (Gatsby’s American Dream, Portugal. The Man), his brother Billy, and videographer Jay Schwandt to Italy. The group traveled to Venice, Verona, Bellagio, Cinque Terre, Chianti, Rome and Lake Como, recording and filming along the way, while pulling inspiration from the rejuvenating culture.
