Warped Hangout With Mayday Parade, The Story So Far, Blackbird And Photographer Tom Falcone

Sometimes weird stuff happens when you’re on the road and it’s best to just let the camera roll. UTG TV likes to jump on those opportunities and this was the perfect instance to do so.

When the press area in Wantagh, NY for the Vans Warped Tour started slowing down, a unique combination of people were left “shooting the shit,” as they say. Derek Sanders of Mayday Parade, Kelen Capener of The Story So Far, Gia Farrell and Kandice Brending of Blackbird, and professional touring photographer Tom Falcone can be seen in this video hanging out and …

Paramore “Steal” Justin Bieber’s Album Art To Create Spoof Song Art

Yesterday it came to many people’s attention that Justin Bieber more than likely stole artwork created by a fan of Paramore in 2011 for a single he just released. Though Bieber has not made any public acknowledgement of the internet’s accusations, Hayley Williams took to Tumblr to express her (hilarious) thoughts on it.

It seems she is not one to leave things at just that, and now the band as a whole has teamed up to mock Bieber. The band created a gif featuring them in various poses using the same set up at Bieber’s album Believe. Instead of …

UTG Review @ Melbourne International Comedy Festival: Bryony Kimmings – ‘Sex Idiot’

Melbourne International Comedy Festival
Comic: Bryony Kimmings
Show: Sex Idiot
Venue: Melbourne Town Hall

Every now and then a piece of performance art comes along that is so unique, daring and confrontational that words simply cannot do it testament. Bryony Kimmings’ Sex Idiot is not one of these shows, but only because you’d need to add ‘hilarious’ to the description.

A thought-provoking yet wildly humorous examination of the awkward aftermath that follows being diagnosed with an STI, Sex Idiot is at once a biting social critique of our archaic attitudes towards STIs and a heartfelt dissertation on modern relationships. Oh, …

UTG Review @ Melbourne International Comedy Festival: The Umbilical Brothers – ‘KiDShoW (Not Suitable For Children)’

Melbourne International Comedy Festival Review
Comic: The Umbilical Brothers
Show: KiDShoW (Not Suitable For Children)

Slapstick superstars, The Umbilical Brothers–Dane (David Collins) and Shavid (Shane Dundas)–brought their considerable talents back to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival this year for an opening night performance of their latest comedic creation, KiDShoW (Not Suitable For Children), and what a performance it proved to be.

A profoundly dark, twisted and undeniably funny re-imagining of the classic children’s television format, KiDShoW finds The Umbilical Brothers in sparkling form, as they utilise their contrasting comedic talents to deliver multiple laughs per minute across the duration …

WATCH: Pete Wentz Of Fall Out Boy – ‘Pete Wentz Presents: The Mexican Flip Off’

If you’ve ever been in a band that’s gone on long tours with other musicians, then you probably have stories about having to entertain yourself and those around you in your downtime. Touring is a bonding experience, and what better way to bond than to organize a competition? Well that’s what Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz decided to do with Panic! At The Disco‘s Brendan Urie and New Politics‘ David Boyd. He dubbed the competition Pete Wentz Presents: Mexican Flip Off, and it pits Urie & Boyd against each other to complete one simple task: land …

Demon Baby Prank Promotes Upcoming Film ‘Devil’s Due’

This week we have a new baby coming to the big screens and there’s no better way to promote the film than to send out an animatronic demon baby on the streets to scare the living shit out of people. If you remember back a few months ago, the Carrie remake did the exact same thing, by scaring patrons in a small coffee shop. This one though for the upcoming film, Devil’s Due, takes the cake and is flat out hilarious and the baby is absolutely terrifying.

Devil’s Due opens in theaters everywhere January 17.

Be prepared for a …

‘The Simpsons’ Hilariously Apologize For Labeling Judas Priest ‘Death Metal’

The Simpsons made the dreams of rock fans worldwide come true earlier this month when the animated sitcom featured a cartoon version of 80s metal icons Judas Priest performing in the fictional town of Springfield. Within minutes of the band’s appearance however, people began to complain and poke fun at the long-running show for having the act introduced as ‘death metal.’ No one from FOX commented on the matter at the time (why would they?), but last night (January 11) the animators issued a response in a way entirely their own.

Said The Whale Release Their Own Version Of “The Fox” By Ylvis

The internet’s most recent viral video is by two Norwegian brothers who are known as Ylvis. They released a catchy song titled “The Fox” that has some outlandish lyrics, costumes and choreography. Our friends in Said The Whale decided to whip up their own version in a matter of hours, titled “The Whale,” with their own beats and everything. Hopefully we shouldn’t have to explain to you why they decided to go with a whale (their name’s Said The Whale). You can listen to their rendition of “The Fox” by taking a look below the jump.

Funnyman Fred Armisen is making headlines this morning for his role in a new infomercial from Queens Of The Stone Age.

Appearing as a salesman, Armisen was recruited by Queens Of The Stone Age to help promote the release of their new album, …Like Clockwork, on limited edition USB Drive (which doubles as a bottle opener, of course). The four-minute video serves as an ad for the product, and as you can imagine plenty of hilarity ensues. You can view the clip at the end of this post.

Chiodos 2012

WATCH: Chiodos Teach Fans How To Dance “Gangnam Style”

Psy’s crossover hit “Gangnam Style” has gone from meme to Billboard hit and now it’s infiltrating the world of alternative rock with a new video uploaded to Chiodos’ official YouTube account this morning. In the clip, Craig Owens and crew teach a group of fans who attended a recent meet and greet to dance “Gangnam Style” on what appear to be an empty soundstage. It’s silly, of course, but sure to provide a few chuckles to help start November off right. You can view the clip after the jump.
