Paramore in Sydney

WATCH: Paramore – “Ain’t It Fun”

If we are being totally honest, I never really cared much for Paramore. I had listened to all their records as they came out, but nothing ever really stuck. But, when the massive sound of their recent self-titled record made its way to my ears, I knew I had finally found some Paramore material that I liked, really liked at that rate. With a simpler execution in songwriting, coupled with an insane sonic edge in production, Paramore presented itself as pure pop-rock fun, polished to the last second.

Released earlier today, Paramore dropped their newest video for the highly loved …

A Day To Remember Paid John Janick (Fueled By Ramen) $450,000 As Alleged Manager

A Day To Remember have been in many of our headlines over this last year. A lot of it has stemmed from their legal woes with their label, Victory Records. We learned not that long ago that the band would be able to release their album, Common Courtesy, but there hasn’t been a decision made as to whether or not the band fulfilled their contractual obligations with the label.

Our friends over at Property Of Zack obtained some documents with additional details of the trial that had yet been brought to light. Apparently, from 2009-2012 the band paid John …

WATCH: Paramore – “Daydreaming”

Paramore have released a new music video for the single “Daydreaming,” off of their latest album, Paramore.

The band’s latest took me by surprise, not personally enjoying much Paramore had previously released, I adore the new album. Punk influenced, exceptional production and engineering, the album was what I wanted from Paramore all along. UTG loved the album has well, giving it a 9.5. If you have yet to, check out our review for the album here.

The video features a pair of friends on their escape from small town America, during which I assume there was a lot …

Young The Giant 2012

Young The Giant Announce New Album, Release New Music Video

It was hard to avoid Young the Giant in the fall of 2010. The Irvine, CA group’s self-titled debut album had spawned hits like “My Body” and “Cough Syrup” and placed them solidly in the upper echelon of indie rock bands with obvious mainstream appeal. Despite a fair amount of touring, they have been pretty quiet on the new music front in the intervening three years, but that is about to change.

Young the Giant will release their sophomore album, Mind Over Matter on January 21, 2014 via Fueled By Ramen Records. The album was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnson, who …
