Four Year Strong Stream “Tread Lightly”

Just a few days after announcing plans to release an EP this summer, Four Year Strong have shared a new song titled “Tread Lightly.”

It’s safe to say a little time has passed since the world last heard from Four Year Strong, but “Tread Lightly” serves as proof that the band has aged like fine wine. Their aggressive take on the pop punk genre is front and center, with lyrics about the struggles of growing up guiding each verse and refrain. There’s even a reference to the group’s hometown of Worcester, which is where many members still reside today. You …

The last seven days have been dominated by pre-orders for new albums from some of our favorite artists. Braid, Every Time I Die, and Handguns all started selling their latest releases this week, to name a few. Although it didn’t get as much attention as it deserved in such a busy week, the new EP from Beach Slang is also a must-buy for any fan of The Replacements and The Menzingers.

In other news, Equal Vision Records revealed exclusive variants for popular albums from Chiodos and Pierce the Veil, …

Under The Gun sent photographer, Derek Scancarelli, to Best Buy Theater in New York City to photograph The Great American Cult Tour on April 4, 2014.

Bayside just wrapped up the end of their headlining Great American Cult Tour. Along for the ride were Four Year Strong, Daylight (who’ve since changed their name to Superheaven) and Mixtapes. If you didn’t get a chance to make it out to one of the shows, have no fear, because three out of four of them will be on this summer’s Warped Tour. To catch Superheaven, you can see their …

LIVE REVIEW: The Great American Cult Tour – Cleveland, OH 3/5/14 (Photos)

Opening night of the Great American Cult Tour took place in Cleveland, OH last week. As Bayside’s first headlining tour in some time, I was prepared for a fantastic show. I wasn’t disappointed.

I asked local photographer Andy Wells to accompany me and his pictures from the show can be found below.

The lineup: Ohio’s own pop-punk quartet Mixtapes, Post-Grunge standouts Daylight, returning champs Four Year Strong, and then Bayside themselves.…
