Today thanks to some amazing fan, we are pleased to bring you the first footage of Frank Turner’s new hardcore band Mongol Horde’s first ever show. The recording is surprisingly good, and it’s a really fantastic watch, especially since it’s the entire set.

For those who don’t know, Frank Turner recently announced that he has started a new hardcore band side-project. It’s probably a way for him to let loose and say something different that doesn’t lend as nicely to the folk music he sings now. I’m totally okay with this.

Though we are still unsure exactly what happened, be it nerves or something else, the show quickly fell apart after Skiba and his bandmates took the stage. Texas’ At The Drive-In played their first show in eleven last night at Austin’s famous Red 7 venue. UTG could not make it, and we suspect many of you missed out as well, but thanks to YouTube we can now experience the show from the comfort of wherever you go.

Former Woe, Is Me frontman Tyler Carter made his live solo debut last week in Texas and UTG TV was on hand to capture the moment.

Taking place at the Dirty Dog Bar in Austin, Texas amidst the insanity known as SXSW, Tyler Carter’s first set featured four new tracks, as well as a piano rendition of a Woe classic. In the middle of his set, Carter performed “Love Sex Riot,” a song he informed UTG would be his next single.
