Filter Sign With Wind-Up Records

90′s rock outfit Filter have announced that they signed onto Wind-Up Records. Congratulations to the entire band on signing.

They are currently preparing a new album in Los Angeles at Blue Room studio’s, with producer Bob Marlette (Black Sabbath, Shinedown). Recording with Filter in-studio are drummers Jeff Friedl (A Perfect Circle) and Elias Mallin (Kill Hannah), along with bassist Phil Buckman. Filter’s lead single from the unnamed effort will impact radio in March and album following a release this May.

Filter Announces Tour With Chevelle and Bush

Filter have recently announced that they would be heading out on a long US tour run with Chevelle and Bush. The tour begins tonight in San Diego and ends on October 28 in Texas.

Snoop Dogg collaborates with Charlie Sheen

Recently making headlines for being a celebrity wreck, Charlie Sheen has now found his way into the media related news for a different reason. Sheen has a song he’s been working on, which will allegedly be making it’s way into his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour, kicking off in Detroit on April 2nd. The track has been produced by Rob Patterson (Filter), and word has just gotten out that Snoop Dogg will be featured! Winning.
