Illinois sad boys Real Friends have just put out a heartbreaking new music video for their song, “Sixteen.”

Taken from their most recent album Maybe This Place Is The Same And We’re Just Changing, and under the direction of Max Moore, the video features a young boy’s lonely sixteenth birthday party at a bowling alley.

“This song is one of our favorites from the album,” bassist Kyle Fasel tells Billboard. “Max Moore, who directed the video, was really able to capture the song’s emotion with this music video. And it’s filmed in a bowling alley so that’s pretty …

Upon A Burning Body Release “Turn Down For What” Video Featuring Ice-T

Upon A Burning Body and Ice-T have worked with the fine folks at Spencer’s to deliver a video for their cover of Lil Jon’s “Turn Down For What.”

Released in the hours before Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6 hits digital retailers, the official video for what can best be described as the metal version of “Turn Down For What” is chock full of strippers, booze, and attitude. Ice-T, Cocoa, and the members of Upon A Burning Body took over a Detroit area night club to shoot the clip, and though it’s fairly generic the visuals are cut together nicely. You …

REVIEW: Various Artists – ‘Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6’

Artist: Various
Album: Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6
Genre: Covers/Compilation
Label: Fearless Records

Two years have passed since Fearless Records shared Punk Goes Pop Vol. 5, and in that time the world of top 40 music has undergone quite a transformation. There is less music created by actual instruments at radio today than ever before, replaced at a startling rate by EDM headliners and star-studded collaborative efforts that revolve around mindless hooks backed by thumping bass. Transforming these tracks into well-executed covers performed by artists using guitars is no easy task, but Fearless found thirteen artists up to the …
