The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Announces 2015 Presenters and Performers

Yesterday, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced the presenters and performers for this year’s ceremony, which is set to air on HBO this coming May.

As reported by Rolling Stone, Sir Paul McCartney will aptly induct Ringo Starr, the always-awesome Stevie Wonder will chat about Bill Wither, and Patti Smith will introduce Lou Reed. Conversely, Peter Wolf will speak on the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, John Mayer will praise Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, and Steve Cropper will welcome The “5” Royales. Additionally, Fall Out Boy will discuss Green Day, which almost seems poetic, considering …

Fall Out Boy Dominate the Paint in “Irresistible” New Music Video

Earlier this morning, pop rock juggernauts Fall Out Boy continued to hype their latest album, American Beauty/American Psycho, by releasing a new music video for their track, “Irresistible.” The lighthearted clip finds the four-piece showcasing their on-court competence with mixed results, and despite being a little cheesy at times, is actually pretty funny. Check it out after the break.

AB/AP dropped back in January, and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling nearly 220,000 units in its first week. If by some chance you’ve spent a majority of this year under a rock, you can stream …

Here’s Why It’s Okay To Think That Fall Out Boy Song Isn’t All That Great

This James Shotwell-opposing diss track began as a joke and gradually got a little heated. I was heckling him about his swooning over Fall Out Boy’s newly-released “Fourth Of July.” He gave me the title and suggested I write an anti-piece based on things I said. So here I am, probably more scathing and critical (and nonsensical) than I truly intend to be. Regardless, shots fired.

I’m not opposed to change. At all. In fact, I encourage and often embrace it. For the sake of this article, in terms of music, I’ll throw out recent examples like Pianos Become The …

Here’s Why Fall Out Boy’s “Fourth Of July” Is The First Great Song Of 2015

We’re essentially halfway into the first month of 2015 at this point, and I think it’s fair to say there have not been many game-changing singles or albums released just yet. Not that we should expect such, of course, but aside from Kanye surprising everyone while they were busy celebrating the new year not a lot of recently released music has been given much hype. Maybe it’s because everyone has been too busy getting back into the flow of work and school to pay much attention to the music being shared, or maybe – just maybe – the world has …

Fall Out Boy Cover Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk”

In the midst of the release of Fall Out Boy‘s new record American Beauty/American Psycho dropping on January 20, the band has recently visited BBC Radio 1 and surprised their fans with an unexpected cover.

Fall Out Boy bring their own brand of funk to Mark Ronson‘s new hit single, “Uptown Funk,” featuring Bruno Mars. Their intimate session in the BBC Radio 1 studio provided the perfect setting and sound to perform their vision of this smashing radio hit.

Fall Out Boy’s groovy rendition of “Uptown Funk” can be streamed below.…

Fall Out Boy Stream “Jet Pack Blues” and “Novocaine”

The anticipation for the drop of Fall Out Boy‘s upcoming album American Beauty/American Psycho has strongly increased today with the band releasing two more new tracks from the album.

“Jet Pack Blues” and “Novocaine” certainly supply the intense power that has already been teased by Fall Out Boy, giving fans even more of a reason to pick up the album when it comes out on January 20.

“Novocaine” is my favorite out of the two tracks, but you can judge them for yourself by listening below.…

Fall Out Boy Stream New Song, “Uma Thurman”

Fall Out Boy will be releasing American Beauty/American Psycho on January 20 and have been streaming new tracks on what seems to be a weekly basis.

With the release date a week away, we get at least one more glimpse into the album with “Uma Thurman.” Obviously named after the famous actress, the song itself is musically in the same highly-produced vicinity as the other singles we’ve experienced so far. Content wise, the band went down the avenue of using pop culture to tie in with the track, including a spin-off of the glorious theme song for The Munsters and …

The Latest Fall Out Boy Single Is Nothing Short Of “Irresistible”

Say what you will about the most recent singles from Fall Out Boy, but I am confident fans new and old will find something to love about the latest song to surface off American Beauty/American Psycho.

Titled “Irresistible,” the latest promotional release off Fall Out Boy’s new album is by far the catchiest song the band has released in at least a year. It finds a perfect balance between the genre-bending sound of Save Rock And Roll and the type of material found on the band’s earlier releases, with a hook that simply cannot be denied. It’s definitely …

Brendon Urie’s Drunken Oral History Of Fall Out Boy

To promote the upcoming release of their new full-length album, American Beauty/American Psycho, Illinois boys, Fall Out Boy, have been releasing the most entertaining videos. Preceded by an uncomfortable reading of FOB confessions stories, the band has just put out another funny video; this time with friend and former label-mate Brendon Urie (Panic! At The Disco) telling a story of how the band came to be, with a little help from Jameson, Jack, and numerous other alcoholic beverages.

Shot a little over a year ago, the Brendon-alcohol tandem produced the funniest of footages. Below, you will …
