REVIEW: Every Time I Die – ‘From Parts Unknown’

Artist: Every Time I Die
Title: From Parts Unknown
Label: Epitaph Records
Genre: Hardcore

Every Time I Die are one of the hardcore genre’s most respected and revered acts. They are also arguably one of its most consistent, having produced a discography of critically acclaimed records each littered with genre-defining party anthems tailor-made to incite and inspire a riotous response in a live environment. This consistency of performance, coupled with their personable natures and overall accessibility has enabled the band to amass a notoriously rabid fan-base affectionately known as ETIDiots, who greet every tour and every new record with unrivaled …

Every Time I Die Stream ‘From Parts Unknown’ In Full

The time has come, ETIDiots. Every Time I Die are currently streaming their newest full-length, From Parts Unknown, in its entirety on YouTube. You can gain pleasure (and a gnarly case of whiplash) from all 12 tracks after the jump.

Beginning with the absolutely chaotic “The Great Secret” and frontman Keith Buckley repeatedly screaming “Blow your fucking brains out!”, we know we’re in for one helluva ride with ETID, as per usual — if the singles we’ve heard from the album thus far weren’t evidence enough.

You still have time to pre-order the album through Epitaph Records before it’s …

UTG EXCLUSIVE: Boozin’ With Buckley! Cocktails With Keith of Every Time I Die

Keith Buckley takes his martini straight up, extra dirty, with Lockhouse vodka. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that had he been asked, he would’ve liked it shaken, not stirred.

Last week, UTG TV sat down with the Every Time I Die frontman in a truly James Bond type fashion to get the scoop on the band’s highly anticipated upcoming album, From Parts Unknown.

We posted up in the backyard of Freddy’s Bar in Brooklyn to discuss the new record, ETID’s laser eyes, the band’s video for “Thirst” and playing Warped Tour this summer.

SINGLE REVIEW: Every Time I Die – “Thirst”

Artist: Every Time I Die
Song: “Thirst”
Album: From Parts Unknown

As a full-fledged ‘ETIDIOT’ there are very few things in this world that excite me as much as new music from Every Time I Die. So it was with great anticipation that I pressed play on “Thirst,” the first single released from the band’s new Kurt Ballou-produced album From Parts Unknown. What I heard next took my excitement levels from six to midnight.

An absolute barnstormer of a track that explodes to life with a hellacious energy that doesn’t let up for a second of its 1:27 …

UTG LIST: The Best ‘Ugly Christmas Sweaters’ From Bands Available In 2013

I don’t know how much time you’ve spent plotting your holiday shopping just yet, but the must-have item in nearly every band store this season is the “ugly Christmas sweater.” Sometimes sold as a crew neck with a sweater design, these items offer a humorous twist on the classic Christmas sweater while giving artists a decent excuse to cash in on the holiday season through merchandising. We love them, as we know many of you do, and after seeing our social feeds flooded with designs from countless bands we decided to compile all our favorite ugly sweaters to ease your …

ACOUSTIC: Taking Back Sunday – “MakeDamnSure”

Alternative rock kings, Taking Back Sunday, have been performing acoustic sets at recent Warped Tour stops. Fuse caught up with Taking Back Sunday singer, Adam Lazzara, and guitarist/singer, John Nolan, as they performed their 2006 hit, “MakeDamnSure”. The song comes off of the quintet’s third album, Louder Now. Check out the acoustic performance after the jump.

Taking Back Sunday are the biggest headliner at this year’s Warped Tour. However, in the recent days the band has had to do some maneuvering as Nolan went home to prepare for the birth of his new child. Various artists ranging from Keith …

Warped Tour In A Day: Auburn Hills, Michigan

Warped Tour 2012 had finally arrived in Auburn Hills, Michigan on July 6 and the UTG crew was ready to take on this great day of live music from some of our favorite bands. The morning started off fairly slow due to the fact that UTG staff member JP and I spent half the night waiting for our good friends Larry G(EE) tour bus to arrive. There is nothing like partying a little too hard before spending 8 hours in 100+ degree heat.

We left for The Palace Of Auburn Hills around 10:30am and arrived at 11:45am to go grab …

LIVE VIDEO : Every Time I Die

Metalcore kings, Every Time I Die, treated a crowd in Fullerton, California to a surprise show  following their set at the local Warped Tour stop. ETID stopped by the Slide Bar Rock-n-Roll Kitchen to pound away a rocking set that included two tracks that were recorded by the band for our viewing pleasure. After the jump, check out Every Time I Die performing “Floater” and “Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space”.

Every Time I Die released their sixth album, Ex-Lives, this past March. Widely considered a triumphant album, Ex-Lives is Every Time I Die’s best chart performing record, landing at …
