Enter Shikari Premiere “The Paddington Frisk”

Enter Shikari have released a new single entitled “The Paddington Frisk.”

Debuting on YouTube today complete with a music video, “The Paddington Frisk” finds Enter Shikari building on the political fury that fueled last year’s Flash Flood Of Colour. The video finds the band performing on an Asian television show with moments of light heartedness sprinkled throughout. You can stream the clip at the end of this post.

According to the video description, “The Paddington Frisk” will be available starting tomorrow on iTunes. Could this be a sign of new material on the way from Enter Shikari? Stay tuned.…

Enter Shikari Return To The Studio

Enter Shikari have recently announced via Facebook status that they’re in the middle of a quick stay at a studio to record three new songs “just for the hell of it”.

The band will be recording their long-awaited follow up to their third full length release, A Flash Flood Of Colour, and have actually brought back the entire production team that made AFFOC happen for this project.

Shortly after this, the band will be heading out on two short run tours of the US and of the UK before returning to the studio once more.

Enter Shikari Frontman Claims Asking Alexandria Have “No Integrity”

2013 is only three weeks old, but I feel like this year is already proving to be one ripe with controversy and open discussion on hot topics throughout the entertainment community. One of the most notable voices so far this year, Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds, recently spoke out against bands who charged for meet and greets and, as you can probably guess, a few bands were put on blast.

It all started when Twitter user @_meg119 tweeted that she hoped Enter Shikari would never charge their fans for “VIP” status at shows. Rou replied to the girl with the …

2013 Download Festival Lineup Announced

UK’s Download Festival looks absolutely insane this year. I’m publicly sobbing that I won’t be there in June. The event takes place from June 14 to June 16; we already knew several acts like Queens of the Stone Age were playing, but this lineup is tough to beat.

The acts? Slipknot, Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Bullet For My Valentine, Queens of the Stone Age, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Enter Shikari, Alice in Chains, Mastodon, Stone Sour, Parkway drive, Five Finger Death Punch, Jimmy Eat World, and so much more. I just can’t believe Jimmy Eat World, Limp Bizkit, …

MUSIC VIDEO: Enter Shikari – “Hello Tyrannosaurus, Meet Tyrannicide”

Of all the stories we were unable to post in a timely manner today, this one bummed me out the most. Enter Shikari had a phenomenal 2012, and if their newly released video for “Hello Tyrannosaurus, Meet Tyrannicide” is any indication, 2013 will be even wilder.

Hitting the net around noon today, the official video for “Hello Tyrannosaurus, Meet Tyrannicide” is the first animated clip to be released by the men behind A Flash Flood Of Colour. The visuals are prefaced with a warning that what follows may cause seizures, but anyone who feels up to the challenge of …

UTG LIST: Best Albums of 2012

All year the Under the Gun Review staff has weighed in on what we thought about the albums the music scene had to offer. This year has been good to us musically, but it’s a really hard process to shave down to our ten favorites of the year.

How to describe Enter Shikari? A number of adjectives and descriptors could apply, but nothing can really describe them in full. At face value their music appears to be fun, …

UTG PHOTOS: The Thug In Me Is You Tour

Under The Gun sent Head of Photography Kellie Gannon to shoot the Thug In Me Is You Tour at House of Blues Cleveland on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. This review reflects the opinions of the author, not the entirety of Under The Gun Review’s staff.

Halloween night, I attended the Thug In Me Is You Tour at House of Blues Cleveland. Headlining the tour was Falling In Reverse, with support from far superior bands including Letlive, I See Stars, and Enter Shikari. To be completely honest, I initially did not want to review or even shoot FIR. I’ll get …
