Emery Release Music Video For “Hard Times”

The latest single to come from the Seattle-based post hardcore outfit Emery comes to us not via Matt Carter’s new podcast, as “The Beginning” and “Thrash” have, but in the form of a music video. The music video, which is for the track “Hard Times,” can be viewed here.

You Were Never Alone will be released via Toby and Matt’s record label, BadChristian Music, May 19. Physical and digital pre-order options are available for purchase through the label’s website. You can also pre-order yourself a copy through Amazon.


Emery Release New Single, “Thrash”

With the May 19 release of Emery‘s sixth album coming closer, the band are getting their fans excited for its release with teasers from their podcast, Break It Down.

On episode two, guitarist Matt Carter talks all about the making of the new album and even premieres the new single, “Thrash.” This track has a multitude of rock and roll assets, ranging from deep, grooving riffs to chaotic unclean vocals and instruments to smooth, melodic sections that pull it all together.

Emery Launch New Podcast

Toby Morrell and Matt Carter of Emery have been working on a popular podcast named BadChristian. The podcast has been a successful endeavor, so it’s no surprise that Matt Carter has decided to launch another podcast. This one is titled Break It Down, and its goal is to share and discuss new music.

The Classic Crime Sign To BC Music, Announce Anniversary Record

Seattle based rock outfit The Classic Crime have revealed they are now a member of BC Music, better known as a branch of Emery’s BadChristian Records. In celebration of the newly founded partnership, The Classic Crime will be releasing What Was Done, Vol. 1: A Decade Revisited, a compilation containing acoustic renditions of fan-favorites alongside rearranged tracks as well.

What Was Done, Vol. 1: A Decade Revisited is set to hit stores October 27, but physical pre-orders are available here. As for the album’s confirmed artwork and tracklisting, both can be found after the jump.


Emery And Norma Jean Announce Co-Headlining ‘Two-Headed Monster’ Tour

Both known for their Christian beliefs and stints on Solid State Records in both the past and present, hard rockers Emery and Norma Jean have announced a co-headlining tour of the United States that will start in late September.

Only twelve dates have been announced so far for the tour but more will be coming in the next couple weeks leading up to the tour. The tour will also feature support roles from Night Verses and Artifex Pereo.

Post-hardcore outfit Emery have launched a crowdfunding campaign on BadChristian for their forthcoming LP, You Were Never Alone. Asking fans for $50,000, the group are offering everything from signed copies of the record to playing personal house shows in return for their generosity.

Post-hardcore outfit Emery have announced they will be embarking on a tour in support of the 10th anniversary of their debut full-length, The Weak’s End. Just in case that piece of news is not already exciting enough, the group have also revealed former vocalist Devin Shelton will be returning for the trek.
