Michigan post-hardcore newcomers The Monsters I’ve Met, which features former members of Famous Last Words (InVogue Records), are releasing their new album, Lights Out!, on October 31. In December of 2010, Paramore let the world know that brothers Zac and Josh Farro had left the band. Two days after that, Zac debuted the band he left the pop/punk rockers to focus on.

That band, now called Halfnoise, has its debut EP come out on October 2. The track listing is:

WATCH: Obama Targets EDM Crowd With “DJs For Obama” AD

President Obama has been on the cusp of everything cool in the digital world since his initial run over four years ago. Today he continued to show a deep connection with (or at least knowledge of) youth culture by releasing a new campaign video targeting fans of EDM. The clip features DJs from all walks of life discussing the importance of getting involved politically (and supporting their favorite candidate) while speaking as PSA-like as possible.
