Eisley Stream ‘Currents’ In Its Entirety

Eisley‘s fourth full length album, Currents, is currently set to hit stores Tuesday, May 28. With just a little less than a week to go, they went ahead and partnered up with Pandora.com to stream the album for free in its entirety. You can listen to the album right here.

Eisley Post Statement On Not Making Kickstarter Goal

Eisley had hoped to fund their upcoming tour to support their new album, Currents, by launching a Kickstarter. Unfortunately they did not make their goal, but they still plan on touring anyway, they will just be borrowing some funds from their family and the label. Eisley Come Close, But Don’t Make Kickstarter Goal

Eisley failed to make their Kickstarter goal. Looks like they won’t be touring the way they wanted to.

With Currents, their new album due out next week, Eisley set up a Kickstarter to help them raise the funds they needed to tour more comfortably with four new additions; their kids. So instead of packing everyone in a van, they were aiming for a bus. While handwritten lyrics and past demos seemed like a good idea when they set up the pledge levels, they didn’t meet their goal. Eisley Stream Track From Say Anything Split

Eisley and Say Anything may not be leaving for their upcoming US tour with HRVRD, Northern Faces, and I The Mighty until June 6, but for now, Eisley has streamed their half of their recently released split 7″ record with Say Anything.

Truth be told, “Lost And Found” isn’t anything new to fans who have followed the band over the years, this is just the first time that the track has been released to the public after it had been performed live on tour.

Eisley Has Launched A $100,000 Kickstarter

It’s all the rage these days with budding musicians. Have the fans pay for your work so you can continue making music and buying groceries. Makes sense.

The latest on this bandwagon? Eisley. The indie-rock family band from Tyler, Texas is requesting a grand total of $100,000 from their fans on Kickstarter so they can continue to tour indefinitely. Their goal is to tour the US, UK and Australia in support of their upcoming record, Currents.

Speaking of Eisley tour dates, the band will be on tour with Say Anything in America from June 6 to July 12. …

Eisley released their 2012 Family Christmas EP earlier today which features friends and family of the Eisley clan such as Perma, Merriment and more.

Merriment Signs To Rory/Equal Vision Records

Tyler, Tex. folk-pop duo, Merriment has signed to Rory Records, Max Bemis’ Equal Vision Records imprint.

The band features siblings Christie and Collin DuPree, relatives of all the members of Eisley, including Bemis’ wife and Eisley frontwoman, Sherri DuPree.

“Not only is Merriment one of my favorite bands but they have more potential to blow the heck up than most bands I encounter nowadays,” Bemis said in Equal Vision’s blog.
