WATCH: Hot Water Music Play “Paper Thin” Live

Late last week, Hot Water Music - the post-hardcore band that four out of five scruffy, PBR swilling punk dudes agree is *burp*, like, the best ever – kicked off their first headlining tour in over eight years.

To commemorate (and capitalize) on the occasion, the group is releasing the 2-CD/DVD combo Live in Chicago through No Idea Records. Culled from a two night stand at the Metro dating back to February 2008, Live in Chicago sees Chuck Ragan and company rocking the Windy City in fine form.

Consequence of Sound was kind enough to upload the band’s performance of …

Emmure Robbed In Germany; Planning DVD Release

Emmure have been touring the world relentlessly in 2012, and they currently find themselves in Germany where they were recent victims of a somewhat large-scale thievery. You can read a full message from the band below, but those seeking a “tl;dr” version should know the band has apparently been working on a DVD chronicling the journeys and the camera being used to capture said moments was stolen sometime earlier tonight during their performance in Oberhausen. If you have any information, or if you’re the asshole responsible, please let the band know.

Here’s the statement that was posted to Facebook earlier …

LIVE VIDEO: Led Zeppelin – “Black Dog” (Taken from ‘Celebration Day’)

Unless you’ve been living under a rock that last few months, it’s likely you’re at least somewhat aware that Led Zeppelin recently put a concert film into limited release and (according to their publicist) found gigantic success. The film is called Celebration Day and features amazing footage from the group’s 2010 reunion show. Tickets sold so well that the group ended up announcing additional screenings, and next week they’ll release the CD/DVD. To mark the occasion, the group have released footage of their “Black Dog” performance, which sounds admittedly different, yet familiar. We think they’ve still got it, and something …

Blogs have been exploding this week with rumors that Led Zeppelin were going to announce a world tour today following the end of a countdown timer the group had placed on their website, but it turns out those sites could not have been more incorrect. Zeppelin are not reuniting again, nor are they hitting an arena near you anytime soon, but they will be just a drive and overpriced concession away later this Fall when their film documenting their 2007 reunion concert hits theaters nationwide.
