The human race has always tried to find meaning for their lives. Having a great creator is a comforting thought. Of course there is someone in the skies that put us on this planet, there is no way we are just a random arrangement of molecules that just so happened to create beings capable of self awareness. That thought has been the source of religion all through the ages. Whether it be the old Egyptian gods like Ra, the Norse warrior …

WATCH: Action Bronson Fights With Security In Portland

Action Bronson seems like a pretty easy going guy, but if video from last night’s show in Portland is any indication of his behavior we suggest no one ever try putting the Blue Chips 2 rapper in a headlock.

According to sources, Action Bronson was involved in a small scuffle with security during a performance in Portland, Oregon last night. The incident happened after Bronson, taking a break from his lengthy set list, began lighting blunts and throwing them into the crowd. As soon as the first one was lit, security emerged on stage and tried to escort the rapper …

MOVIE REVIEW: ’50K And A Call Girl, A Love Story’

Film: 50K And A Call Girl, A Love Story
Starring: Ross Patterson, Jesse Wiseman, Seth Grossman
Director: Seth Grossman
Writers: Seth Grossman, Ross Patterson

Before I review this film there are some things you should know about me that heavily affected my opinion of 50k And A Call Girl, A Love Story (henceforth known as 50k because that is a lot to type out every time). For the last few years I have been battling a medical condition that is not quite a terminal brain tumor (which is what the sick guy in 50K has) but is nonetheless quite debilitating …

Nativ Apparently Kicked Out Half Their Members

Things may have seemed quiet in Nativ‘s world if you’re an onlooker, but now it appears as though the inner turmoil is finally spilling out into the public eye. According to a series of tweets by members William Honto and Phil Druyor, they are no longer in the band. Apparently this happened without their consent.

At this point this is a “he said she said” situation, and there are no official updates from the band itself. Check out these tweets by taking a look below jump. Also be sure to check in again soon for more updates.

Note, there …

Shia LaBeouf Tweets Retirement Announcement

Shia LaBeouf has spent the better part of the last month surrounded by controversy after his recent short film was found guilty of rampant plagiarism. The fallout would not have been as bad as it was had LaBeouf not also plagiarized his apology. More than once.

This morning, LaBeouf shocked fans and critics once again by tweeting his decision to retire from what he describes as ‘all public life.’ You can view the tweets in question below:…

Courtney Love Seems To Be Teasing A Hole Reunion

Taking to Facebook on Saturday night (December 28), Love surprised fans worldwide by sharing a photo of herself and former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson. The image, which you can view below shows the two sharing a warm embrace. The caption reads “And this just happened…. @eric_erlandson @maindepowr @LouiseMensch @xMAdMx 2014 going to …

Pusha T Calls Out False Promoter On Twitter, Swears He’d Never Charge For Meet And Greets

Anyone who has spent more than thirty seconds listening to the music of Pusha T knows he’s not the type of person you want to mess with, especially when it comes to his business. Unfortunately, one promoter recently learned this lesson the hard way.

Pusha is currently touring the US in support of his new album, My Name Is My Name, and recently while performing in Orlando he learned that a man claiming to be a music promoter was selling tickets to fans ranging from $75-100 promising a meet and greet following the show. As you can imagine, Pusha …

Steve Klein Is No Longer A Member Of New Found Glory

The pop punk world is confused and a bit sad today following the announcement that longtime guitarist Steve Klein is no longer a member of New Found Glory.

Taking to Facebook late Wednesday night, the remaining members of New Found Glory informed fans about Klein’s departure via open letter. The group cited growing differences between themselves and Klein, which we can only assume came to a head in recent weeks. You can read their full message below:

To All Our Fans,

It is with heavy hearts that we must let you know that Steve Klein is no longer a part

Out of the Furnace Movie

MOVIE REVIEW: ‘Out Of The Furnace’

Film: Out Of The Furnace
Directed By: Scott Cooper
Starring: Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Forest Whitaker, Zoe Saldana

If Scott Cooper’s short but notable career has taught us anything, it’s this: half of directing is casting. Okay, that might not be a quantifiable statistic, but you get the idea. For his first feature, Crazy Heart, he managed to wrangle Jeff Bridges into the role of a down and out country singer, and there’s probably no role more perfectly apt for His Dudeness. The rest of the film seemed to simply fall into place surrounding Bridges’ acting (and …

3/4 of Quiet Out Loud Quit Band

It’s not every morning you wake up to learn a band you featured less than three months prior essentially imploded while you were asleep.

Three of the four members comprising Chicago pop rock outfit Quiet Out Loud have reportedly quit the band following ongoing friction between themselves and vocalist Nick Forbes. You can read a full explanation from now former member Matt Lillie on Tumblr, including screenshots of a conversation between himself and Nick, but for those looking for something a bit simpler, we’ve highlighted a key section below:

Now I just need to shed some light on some

Movie: A.C.O.D.
Director: Stuart Zicherman
Writer: Ben Karlin, Stuart Zicherman
Studio: Black Bear Pictures

Divorce used to be such a taboo subject (I am told). Now half of all marriages end that way. My parents split when I was a kid and a lot of my friends’ folks did the same. It had its benefits like double holidays and figuring out you could say “but I get to do this at Mom’s house!” when you wanted to get away with something, but for the most part it sucks. Your parents talk shit about each other and you are always worried …

Jason Lancaster Pens Open Letter To Go Radio Fans, Disagrees With Band’s Statement

The alternative rock scene is still recovering from the loss of Go Radio earlier this week, and now frontman Jason Lancaster has stepped forward to reveal his version of the band’s final days.

Speaking directly to fans, Lancaster released a message earlier today opening up about the days leading up to the demise of Go Radio. He claims he is not finished with music by any stretch of the imagination, but came to the realization Go Radio was not where he needed to be at this point in his life. You can read the full message below.

It’s worth noting …
