The Weeknd Releases Music Video For “Can’t Feel My Face”

Abel Tesfaye, more famously known as The Weeknd, has had a huge year thus far.

With three radio hits sitting nicely on top of the charts and a sophomore album on the way this summer, the Canadian R&B recording artist has come a long way ever since he opened up for Justin Timberlake‘s The 20/20 Experience tour in 2013, and especially since his first widely available mixtape in 2011.

Today he has released an AppleMusic exclusive video for his newest hit, “Can’t Feel My Face.” The video features Tesfaye literally unable to feel his face shortly after catching …

Drake Buries Meek Mill With “Back To Back” Freestyle

Several days have passed since Drake responded to Meek Mill‘s claims of hiring ghostwriters with his chill, yet vicious “Charged Up” freestyle. You may have thought Meek would have responded by now, and if that’s the case you are not alone. Everyone was expecting the Maybach Music Group member to retaliate to Drake’s line, which he himself called “Baby lotion soft” over Twitter, but here we are at 9:30 AM on Wednesday and Meek remains silent.

Drake, on the other hand, has something more to say.

Raising the bar to a height I’m not sure Meek Mill has ever …

Drake Shares “Energy” Video, New Song & Beats 1 News

As if the first global international release date was not busy enough, the hardest working man in music dropped three major pieces of news before most people were out of the office.

Starting with the weirdest of the bunch, Drizzy first shared the long-awaited video for “Energy.” The If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late track was too aggressive for a traditional performance piece, so instead Drake embodies everyone (literally) from Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, to Lebron James and Larry Flynt to make the clip come to life. The final product is possibly the weirdest mainstream rap video of …

Game & Drake Swap Bars About The Realities Of Fame On “100″

The Game and Drake just delivered a new single that is destined to take hip-hop by storm in no time at all.

Remember when Drake was spotted dropping a few unreleased bars to a sold out Detroit crowd late last month? That so-called freestyle was actually an unannounced preview for the Toronto native’s latest collaboration with California heavyweight The Game. “100″ finds the two top shelf emcees swapping bars that address the snakes in the grass who think they slink by unseen, as well as the reality of pursuing your dreams in a time where most feel unable to even …

Last Chance To Hop On The “No Compadre” Bandwagon

2014 was admittedly a weak year for Future, as real life drama and lackluster singles had many wondering if the once promising emcee had fallen off. 2015 has been a different story thus far, and now Future is taking things to another level by releasing the long-awaited video for “No Compadre.”

You may recognize “No Compadre” as your favorite Music writer’s favorite song. The track originated on Future’s 56 Nights mixtape and it’s now destined to be on every buck wild playlist you and your hipper than hip friends put together in anticipation of your next rager. It …

Drake Drops Unreleased Freestyle During Detroit Performance

Warning: You probably aren’t ready for this.

Drake is not spending much of the summer on the road, but right now he’s currently joining Future on the far too short ‘Jungle’ tour that is hitting arenas nationwide. Last night the run stopped in Detroit at the Palace Of Auburn Hills, and the man behind Views From The Six decided to share something never before released with the crowd of thousands who had paid to see him perform. We weren’t there, but fortunately for us (and you), someone shot a video.

Now you’ve probably seen Drake freestyle before. His flow, though …

New Music: Juicy J Feat. Drake & Ty Dolla $ign – “Tryna F*ck”

Without warning or promotion, a new Juicy J track has begun to circulate online that many are already calling the next big hit of summer 2015.

“Tryna Fuck” is not the kind of title you can sell to radio, but the studio quality song that leaked from Juicy J over the weekend is actually the edited version of a song with that very name, only this time the hook has been changed to “Tryna Love.” Make no mistake though, it’s clear from each line in every verse, not to mention the celebratory hook, that the headliners behind this track have …

New Music: Drake & Beyonce – “Can I”

Earlier this year, music writer Ernest Baker had the opportunity to shadow Drake while working on a feature for the popular site FourPins. In the resulting article, Baker wrote that the Toronto native only had two songs completed for the long-awaited album Views From The Six, including one track that featured Beyonce and had been recorded some time prior to 2015. No one thought we would hear that song any time soon, but late last night a collaborative effort between Drake and Bey titled “Can I” found its way online.

Rolling Stone brought to our attention this morning, …

Meek Mill Releases “Energy” Music Video

Less than a week after sharing his freestyle of Drake‘s hit song “Energy,” Philadelphia native Meek Mill has unveiled a new video that fans are sure to love.

You may live a good life, but chances are your existence is not quite as lavish as the one lived by Meek Mill. Joined by what appears to be a dozen of his closest friends, not to mention Nicki Minaj and Dej Loaf, Meek Mill spends the video for “Energy” jet-setting from Philly to Vegas to experience all the luxury Sin City has to offer. Along the way, …

Drake Shares Remix Of Fetty Wap’s “My Way”

Fetty Wap is currently burning up radio charts with his infectious single “Trap Queen,” but late last night OVO ringleader Drake gave us yet another reason to care about the fast-rising New Jersey native.

“My Way” is likely to be the next single Fetty Wap pushes to the masses, and yesterday Drake beat him to the punch by releasing his remix of the hard-hitting track. Unlike most rappers, who place themselves at the front of a remix, Drake let’s the first chorus and verse play in full before inserting his own lines into the mix. When he does …
