Dr. Manhattan’s ‘Jam Dreams’ Is [Finally] Headed To Vinyl

Michigan’s Have Fun Records have announced plans to release a first-ever pressing of Dr. Manhattan‘s Jam Dreams in late September 2014.

News of the indie label’s plans to bring Jam Dreams to vinyl were made public earlier today, August 18. In a letter to fans and friends, a representative for Have Fun wrote:

It’s finally here! An invite to a Jam Dream!

Dr. Manhattan from Wacaonda, IL, will be re-issuing their sophomore LP ‘Jam Dreams’ on vinyl via MI-based indie label Have Fun Records. The album features 12 groovy tracks from the party-punk band co-produced alongside Saves the Day’s

Dr. Manhattan Confirm Reunion And New EP

Unfortunately there are too many bands out there who seem to have given up the ghost before they had the opportunity to “hit it big.” There are some lucky fans who got to enjoy that band’s music, and it’s bittersweet. Sometimes a few of those bands will get back together, and in those instances it can cause a stir in the music community.

Dr. Manhattan have been out of the limelight for quite a few years now. Their last show together was back in 2011, and while they’ve remained relatively active online, haven’t created anything new nor hinted at plans …

Reunited: Dr. Manhattan Are Back!

One-time Vagrant Records signees Dr. Manhattan have begun hinting at 2014 plans that lead many to believe the group is back together.

Taking to Facebook on Friday, January 16, someone with access to Dr. Manhattan’s page posted an extremely leading message to followers that reads:

“We talkin’ album. We talkin’ tour. Bein’ a-band again is fun. Fundamental. Funda-METAL!”

Dr. Manhattan performed their last show together on December 23, 2010. They reunited twice in 2011 for one-off performances, but have since not performed together or discussed the possibility of new music. Their most recent release, Jam Dreams, was released in …

After The Hush Sound had been on hiatus for 3 1/2 years, they decided to do a two day reunion weekend at The Bottom Lounge.
