WZRD, the collaborative effort between Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius, finally took their latest single to late night television yesterday and UTG has the footage.

Cudi has been complaining about his record under-shipping, but no one should be whining about selling 70,000 units in 2012. Have you picked up the record yet? Comment below and tell …

Artist: WZRD
Album: WZRD
Genre: Rock
Label: Wicked Awesome, HeadBanga Muzik, Universal Republic

WZRD, the seemingly ubiquitous Kid Cudi’s foray into alternative rock territory, have done their very utmost to make this debut album sound like something you should care about. It simmers with intent, full of sleek and pompous guitar riffs that burn with such malevolence they all but bore their way into your head. The songs are lengthy and intensely atmospheric, all about establishing a huge sense of occasion for a record that has (to some degree) been quite highly anticipated. However, all that aside, there’s simply not …

“My weak ass label only shipped 55k physicals cuz they treated this like some indie side project tax right off,” tweeted Cudi. “So i

STREAM/DOWNLOAD: W Z R D (KiD CuDi & Dot Da Genius) – Teleport 2 Me (Snippet)

A clip of Kid Cudi’s long-awaited forthcoming single has finally arrived online and UTG has the stream you need to hear.

Blending a sample familiar to anyone that has seen Drive with the kind of laid back beat those familiar with Cudi would expect him to ride, this sample of “Teleport To Me” definitely raises our hopes for W Z R D’s upcoming debut. It is endlessly better than “Brake,” but at the same time it showcases very little as far as growth or evolution is concerned. You can hear it for yourself, after the jump.
