James Shotwell Guillermo Del Toro has never been one to disappoint. His the lush liveliness of his films, regardless of genre or theme, is something few, if any directors living today can or have duplicated. His latest, a horror film with a seemingly straightforward plot, looks simpler than before, but just as stimulating.
Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark follows a young girl (Bailee Madison) who moves in with her father (Guy Pearce) and his girlfriend (Katie Holmes), but soon discovers there are other living in the house. Hitting theaters August 12, this could easily be one of the year’s scariest films:…
