Hear Freddie Gibbs, Madlib, Earl Sweatshirt, and Domo Genesis on “Robes”

California’s Madlib and Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs are teaming up to release a collaborative album on March 18. The album, titled Piñata, comes out through Madlib’s label Madlib Invazion and has been pushed back since its original February 4 date. If that news is upsetting, relax. One listen to “Robes” off the album and you’ll realize it’s worth it.

Featuring guest verses from Earl Sweatshirt and Domo Genesis, “Robes” is a chilled out track with smooth bass and tickling jazz guitar in the background. If they pushed back the release date due to additional production, it’s worth it; this sounds …

MellowHigh Stream “Extinguisher,” Launch Album Preorder

What happens when you cross Odd Future‘s stoner deity Domo Genesis with fellow OFWGKTA members MellowHype (Left Brain and Hodgy Beats)? The answer is MellowHigh, the latest rap outfit aiming to conquer iTunes charts in the weeks ahead.

Given the number of collaborations Domo shared with Mellowhype, the birth of Mellowhigh was a long time in the making, but that does not make the resulting effort any less exciting. “Extinguisher,” the latest song to surface off the group’s upcoming mixtape, offers an off-the-cuff sound that harkens back to the early days of the Odd Future collective. All three …

Required Listening: Tyler, the Creator, Domo Genesis, Earl Sweatshirt, and Hodgy Beats – “Look”

I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again, but if there is a better way to start the day than with new music then I certainly haven’t found it.

Though the individual members seem to be permanent fixtures of pop culture, Odd Future as a crew has been largely quiet in 2013. Their last collaborative release hit in early 2012, which we think is too damn long, and based on the track that arrived online early this morning it seems safe to say they agree.

Debuting out of the blue well after the sun set, “Look” is a …

Earl Sweatshirt Announces North American Tour

Odd Future affiliate Earl Sweatshirt has announced he will be heading out on a North American tour this fall in support of his recently released debut studio full-length, Doris. The tour would not be complete without some friends in tow, though, so Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis, and Vince Staples will all be making appearances on the trek as well.

There is no confirmation on which dates the other acts will be performing at, but make sure to follow the jump for the dates and locations and see if Earl will be heading to your city. …

Prodigy Releases “Y.N.T.” Video Featuring Domo Genesis

Summer is in the air, and with that in mind Prodigy has blessed the internet with a new single and video that’s perfect for cruising around with the window rolled down.

“Y.N.T.,” which stands for Young And Thuggin, found its way online this afternoon complete with an official music video. The songs pairs prodigy with OFWGKTA member Domo Genesis against a beat that is both smooth and fun. Domo Genesis leads the verses, with lines about his life and love of smoking weed, and though it may seem like a slap to Prodigy I think he steals the show. The …

STREAM/DOWNLOAD: Domo Genesis Ft Remy Banks – “Drugs Got Me Spiritual”

April 20 has become a go-to day for urban artists hoping to ride the wave of popularity in marijuana culture, and this year has proven to be no different. I chose not to post a number of tracks that have been submitted already because, to be frank, they were nothing more than an excuse to say weed over a weak beat. This track, however, is something special.

Pairing with production from The Alchemist once again, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All member Domo Genesis has released a new song entitled “Drugs Got Me Spiritual.” Featuring a guest verse from …

WATCH: Tyler, The Creator Feat. Earl Sweatshirt and Domo Genesis Perform “Rusty” on ‘Letterman’

Last night, members of Odd Future stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman to perform the song “Rusty” from Tyler, The Creator’s new album, Wolf.

There’s no doubt that Odd Future is a collection of entertaining personalities. During Domo Genesis’ verse, both Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler, The Creator bust out an impromptu choreographed dance. Not to mention, Tyler, The Creator rapping a cappella at the end of his verse, only to drop the mic and walk off stage with the rest of Odd Future. Tyler made up for it though by coming back out, putting his arm around David

WATCH: Tyler, the Creator On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

In 2011, Tyler, the Creator made his television début on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon program. It was a memorable show. Tyler and Hodgy Beats performed “Sandwiches,” assaulted the night’s guests, and afterwards, Jimmy Fallon gave Ace an impromptu piggy back ride through the credits.

This time, Tyler scaled things back a bit. Manning the piano for half of his performance, he debuted “TreeHome” which will appear on his forthcoming record Wolf along with “Domo23″ which was also performed on the program.

If you missed the show like you do every night, you can watch the performance below. Wolf
