Country music legend George Jones has passed away at the age of 81 following a short hospital stay.

Jones was reportedly admitted to a hospital on April 18 with complaints of fever and irregular blood pressure, but no official cause of death has been released at this time.

UTG is very sad to learn that former Fleetwood Mac guitarist/vocalist Bob Welch died yesterday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Bob Welch was Fleetwood Mac’s guitarist and vocalist from 1971 through 1974.

The 66-year-old was found dead in Nashville by his wife, with a chest wound, in their home. Welch had left a suicide note at the scene. We cannot express how hard this must be for the family and wish them the best in their emotional recovery.

Multiple sources are reporting that Bee Gees Co-Founder Robin Gibb lost has died following a long battle with cancer. He was 62.

A spokesperson from Gibb released a statement on the family’s behalf. It reads:

The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.”

Sad news to report this evening as UTG has just learned that Lucky Boys Confusion guitarist Joe Sell has died at the age of 33.

CNN is reporting that legendary singer Etta James has died at the age of 73.

James, who rose to fame 1950s, will always be remembered for such hits as “At Last” and “I’d Rather Go Blind.” She suffered from leukemia, dementia, and hepatitis C.

UTG could not be more heartbroken to learn of her passing and send our condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed.

After we brought you the terrifying news from the Pukkelpop Festival, in Hasselt, Belgium, the festival have responded with deep sympathy and sorrow.

Six concert-goers were killed, after the entire stage collapsed, when a giant storm came sweeping through the grounds. We at UTG are very sorry to everyone effected by this terrible occurrance.

Jani Lane, vocalist for legendary rock act Warrant, was found dead in a Comfort Inn around Los Angeles yesterday after noon. Cause of death has yet to be announced, but no foul play is expected. Lane was 47.
