R.E.M. Announces ‘Green’ 25th Anniversary Reissue

Alternative rockers R.E.M. announced today that on May 14 they will be releasing the deluxe edition of their multi-platinum sixth studio album Green through Rhino Records. This album has gone on to sell more than four million copies worldwide.

The special two-disc set includes a remastered version of the album, with a disc of live performances taken from the band’s concert in Greensboro, NC on November 10, 1989. Get ready because that is not all. It also comes with a foldout poster and liner notes by Allan Jones.

Antique Records Announce Limited Edition A Lot Like Birds Cassette Release, Reveal New Logo

Antique Records has partnered with Doghouse Records to create a limited deluxe edition cassette release of A Lot Like Birds’ debut album, Conversation Piece. The pressing is scheduled to be released October 23, and is limited to 100 copies available in two colors (30 gold, 70 black). Talk all you want about Rise Records’ Attack Attack! but they can bring out a good live performance 9 times out of 10. These guys love what they do and aren’t afraid to get the crowds moving.
