Touché Amoré Announce New Album, Fall 2013 Release Date

California hardcore group Touché Amoré announced today that they have entered the studio to record their latest full length on Deathwish Inc. The band is set to release the new record this coming Fall.

Touché Amoré’s upcoming album is currently being recorded with producer Brad Wood (Sunny Day Real Estate, mewithoutyou), and is the follow-up to their critically acclaimed record Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me.

Deathwish Inc Release Spring Sampler

Ah. Spring is almost here. With all of that comes festival season and a whole mess of free music compilations by various record labels. Among the first wave of these comes Spring 2013, Deathwish Inc.’s fittingly titled spring sampler that features a slew of tracks by the many bands that reflect the label’s aggressive sound.

We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to one of the latest hardcore side-projects to grace the scene: Hesitation Wounds. The band consists of Jeremy Bolm from Touche Amore, Jay Weinberg (former member of Against Me!), Neeraj Kane of The Hope Conspiracy, and Stephen LaCour (former member of Trap Them). The band released “A. Smith (Death of a Teenager)”, their lead single off of their upcoming self-titled 7″ EP yesterday, and the song absolutely kills.

Loma Prieta Announce Tour With Goodtime Boys

The guys over in Deathwish Inc.’s Loma Prieta have decided to take their friends in the UK’s Goodtime Boys for their first stateside tour to date.

It only seems logical that two up and coming groups from the experimental heavy music scene should tour together, and now that it’s actually happening, fans can only wait in anticipation for the tour to actually commence. The stops primarily consist of three SXSW dates in Texas, a quick pass-through of the Midwest, and then an East Coast trek from Florida to Rhode Island.

Topshelf Records Confirms Touche Amore And Pianos Become The Teeth Split

Earlier this year, we caught the rumor that Touche Amore and Pianos Become The Teeth would do a split record together. Today, Topshelf Records confirmed that they and Deathwish Inc. would release the split, with the Touche Amore song being “Gravity, Metaphorically” and the Pianos song being “Hiding”.
