Dave Matthews Band Announce Tour Dates That Will Feature Both Acoustic & Electric Sets

If you are a fan of Dave Matthews Band, then this is an announcement you will want to pay attention to. Earlier today the group announced that they will be embarking on a US tour starting this May, titled A Very Special Evening With Dave Matthews Band. The reason you should be excited is that they also announced that for each of the tour dates they will be performing two whole sets instead of the usual one. LIVE VIDEO: Dave Matthews Band – The Riff

The Dave Matthews Band recently debuted a brand new song called “The Riff”, while on their summer tour. The new song is the sixth track off of the band’s highly anticipated album Away From The World, due out this September.

The video below catches the band playing the new song while performing at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey, which was apparently the fourth night in a row the band performed the track.

Perhaps the tragedies at the Indiana State Fair and Pukkelpop Festival have brought attention to the fact that bad weather at concerts can not only be inconvenient, but can have deadly consequences. With Hurricane Irene taken into consideration, promoters have decided not to take any risks this weekend. As a result, dozens of concerts have been canceled or postponed.
