Das Racist Call It Quits

Rumors about Brooklyn alternative hip-hop group Das Racist calling it quits have been swirling around the internet and now Under The Gun Review can confirm that they are no more. DR were supposed to play the On3 Festival in Munich, Germany this weekend and ended up being Heems performing a solo set. He sent out the following message to fans.

“You guys wanna know the secret? Alright, so I’m going to do some Das Racist songs, but Das Racist is breaking up and we’re not a band anymore.”

Das Racist announce Relax Tour

Recently, Das Racist confirmed that their new album Relax will be released on September 13. Following the album release – and after an album release show on September 12 – the band will begin a fall tour kicking off in Boston on September 28. The full list of tour dates are below:
