A Lot Like Birds frontman, Kurt Travis (ex-Dance Gavin Dance) recently performed an old and new song at his recent solo stop at Chain Reaction. The old song is “We All Make Contradictions,” a track from Travis’ pre-Dance Gavin Dance band, No Not Constant. The new song is untitled. Check out both tracks after the jump.

Kurt Travis was fired from his position as lead vocalist of Dance Gavin Dance in 2010 after former frontman, Jonny Criag, rejoined the Sacramento, California post-hardcore outfit. Travis joined A Lot Like Birds last year and the group released Conversation Piece shortly …

The world chewed up and spit out Dance Gavin Dance frontman Jonny Craig earlier this week, and it seems Jonny has finally reached his breaking point.

Earlier tonight, Jonny took to this personal Facebook to announce he is moving on in life. In a status update, Craig wrote:

Im no longer gonna be making music. i wont change my mind so just leave me alone. i give up.

This status was followed just a few minutes later with the update:

Things are winding down with the various Jonny Craig related updates, but we’ve got a few more testimonies to give before the information well runs dry.
