Xerxes Announce European Tour

No Sleep Records’ Xerxes have announced they are heading out on the Would You Understand? European Tour from July 26 to August 10. Rather than tour alongside a set lineup, they will instead be performing with a variety of bands including Comeback Kid, Birds in Row, Coliseum, and The Tidal Sleep on various dates.

Lamb Of God and Dethklok are forced to cancel their upcoming tour due to the continued incarceration of LOG singer Randy Blythe. Read the official statement from the press release below.

Randy Blythe Bail Denied, Singer Remains In Custody

According to a number of sources, Lamb Of God singer Randy Blythe’s bail payment has been denied by the prosecutor on the case. The $400,000 bail payment was denied despite the court documents accepting the bail being approved by the Prague Municipal Court yesterday.

Following the prosecution’s challenge of the payment, the prosecutor will now appear in court on July 27 to formally issue the reasoning for the challenge. Lamb of God Releases Statement About Randy Blythe’s Arrest

After a long silence, Lamb of God has officially released a statement about the arrest of their frontman Randy Blythe. The band is currently trying to keep their heads up while they try and figure out Randy’s situation, but are currently asking for donations to Randy’s legal fund to get him out of jail after being detained despite paying the $250,000 bail.

Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe Reportedly Released From Prison

Things seems to be on the up for our heavy metal brethren in Lamb Of God. GunShyAssassin pointed out earlier this morning that band guitarist Mark Morton tweeted “Today just turned into a FANTASTIC day!!!,” a message which they believed to mean Randy was free, or at least in a better situation than previous reportedly. Turns out things ARE looking up as GSA is now reporting that Blythe was in fact released from a Prague prison on $200,000 bail. No further details are available at this time, but we are keeping an eye out. Stay tuned.
