STREAM: Patent Pending – “Break Stuff” (Limp Bizkit Cover)

Patent Pending are the working man’s pop punk deities. They work harder than most bands, tour relentlessly, and constantly push themselves to go bigger and perform better with each passing year. Today, out of nowhere, the boys from Patent Pending decided to release an EP featuring covers of popular songs from 1999 entitled, Spring Break ’99. Now, they have said they are recording some cover tunes, asking fans for requests. I asked them to cover “Goodbye Sky Harbor”, because that was by a totally different band.

My real issue? They haven’t said if it’s for …

Fake Problems/Never Shout Never split

In what may be an early contender for oddest musical pairing of 2011, Fake Problems and Never Shout Never have announced plans for a split single later this year. Fake Problems will be contributing a cover of Never Shout Never’s “Sweet Perfection,” while Christofer Drew and Never Shout Never will cover Fake Problem’s “Songs For Teenagers.” No release date is set, but we’ll let you know more as soon as we do!
