Last week the internet lost its mind when Riot Fest announced an amazing lineup for the annual Chicago music event. Today two additional cities were announced as playing host to Riot Fests of their own, and this time UTG is getting in on the action.

For those who are unaware, The Gay Blades are a band that hold deep meaning to the staff. Our name, Under The Gun, actually derives from the lyrics of “Robots Can Fuck Your Shit Up.”

Some of you may have heard of the Chardon High School shooting in Ohio, but for those of you that have not heard about it, continue reading. On February 27th a student brought a gun to school and killed three students along with injuring many others.

The high school was entered into local radio station 96.5 KISS FM’s 2012 Rock Your Prom contest. The high school won in a landslide, because local community members voted for the high school to win after what they’ve been through.
