We never want to encourage anyone to pirate media, but sometimes footage hits the net that cannot be denied. This is one of those cases.

Last weekend, attendees of the New York Comic-Con were among the first in the world to see footage from the forthcoming remake of Evil Dead. Social networks exploded with praise and excitement shortly after the footage premiered, which left the rest of us kicking the dirt in a fit of jealousy, but now everyone can sort-of enjoy the goods thanks to some asshole with a cell phone.

Free Dethklok Performance on a Battleship at ‘San Diego Comic-Con’ Tonight

Your favorite animated-turned-real-life death metal outfit Dethklok will be performing their first live set of 2012 tonight in San Diego at the multi-genre convention, Comic-Con.

If that’s not cool enough, the band, fronted by Metalocalypse creator and super shredder extraordinaire Brendon Small, will be performing aboard the USS Midway battleship. The current line-up will feature Small with friends Gene Hoglan (Strapping Young Lad, Testament) on drums, Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, The Mike Keneally Band) on guitar, and Bryan Beller (Steve Vai, Galaktikon) on bass.

Doug Benson Follows Morgan Spurlock, Announces Comic-Con Film

Comedian and stoner extraordinaire Doug Benson has announced he will once again be following in the steps of filmmaker Morgan Spurlock with his latest cinematic endeavor. Yes, even though The Greatest Story Ever Rolled has yet to premiere, Benson has already revealed the details behind his next project and anyone visiting San Diego July 12-17 may have the chance to be involved.

Though no title has been announced, Doug Benson will be filming a stoner’s take on Comic Con International that plays somewhat like Spurlock’s recent release, Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan’s Hope, during this year’s con. Not plot …

Black Tide Perform At Comic-Con 2011

Black Tide have been filmed performing two songs live at the 2011 Comic-Con event, which can be seen right here on UTG. Check out the band as they rip through “That Fire” and “Fight Til The Bitter End” off of their latest effort Post Mortem.

BT are currently out on the Uproar Festival with Avenged Sevenfold and more, that wraps up in San Francisco, California on October 14.

Following yesterday’s online debut of trailers for The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers, today we have a bootleg premiere of the official teaser for 2012′s The Amazing Spider-Man.
