Wet Go Roller Skating In New Video For “You’re The Best”

Wet have yet to truly blow up but they’re well on their way. Hopefully their upcoming debut full-length will get them all the attention they deserve.

In 2013, the New York pop/R&B trio released one of my favorite EPs of the year, or last several years really. They also released a video for one of the EP’s singles, titled “You’re The Best.” However, as the track will also be featured on their new album, Don’t You, it’s been given a visual makeover with a brand new video that takes place at a roller skating rink. Vocalist Kelly Zutrau tells …

Listen To Foster The People Cover Calvin Harris’ “Under Control”

I’ll be honest; I’m not a huge fan of cover songs. Frankly, I think actual songwriting is a much more effective way of determining a musicians worth, since just about anyone can copy other people’s work. That being said, occasionally I do run across a cover song that I legitimately enjoy, such as Foster the People’s cover of Calvin Harris’ chart-topper “Under Control,” which debuted earlier this morning. Check it out by following the jump below.

Additionally, the Los Angeles-based trio recently released a music video for the first single off their upcoming album, which you can view it here

St. Lucia

STREAM: St. Lucia – “Too Close”

X’s are filling up my calendar this September as I await St. Lucia‘s debut full length, coming October 8.

I fell in love with the Brooklyn synth-pop group when I decided that 10 bucks a month for Rdio’s services was a pretty good deal. I synced a bunch of stuff I was recommended and some things the robots on Rdio thought were similar and I enjoyed an iPhone 4S-full of new music on a beach in Georgia.

I miss vacation…

Alas, St. Lucia was one of those new finds that washed through my queue as the water washed around …
