Chief Keef Arrested In Georgia

Seventeen-year-old rapper Chief Keef continues to find himself tangled in legal troubles this morning as news of yet another arrest has begun surfacing online.

According to an article on TMZ, Keef was taken into custody while in DeKalb County, Georgia yesterday on charges of “disorderly conduct.” The events leading up to police involvement remain unclear, but Keef was allowed to leave last night (presumably after paying a small fine). After he was free, Keef tweeted “Jus Got Out Of Dekalb County jail In Atlanta Mad As fuck.”

DNAinfo is reporting that the details of Chief Keef’s contract with Interscope have been made public as part of a court order. No, it’s not because the “I Don’t Like” rapper is getting charged with anything (this time).

Typically the details of a rapper’s contractual agreement with a major label are only hinted at in the verses they spit and the clothes that they wear. However as Keef, born Keith Cozart, was a minor at the time of his signing with the major label, his contract requires signed approval from a United States court judge.

Middle School Student Sues Chief Keef For Child Support

A female student in Illinois is suing Chicago-based rapper Chief Keef, real name Keith Cozart, over allegations the seventeen-year-old fathered a child with her two years ago and has yet to pay child support.

The girl, who is currently attending middle school in the Chicago area, claims Keef is the father of her two-year-old son, and that she and Keef were together when the rapper was fifteen. The age of the girl has not been released, but being a middle school student tells us the girl could have been in sixth grade or at most eighth grade at the time …

Chief Keef In Jail For Violating Probation; Sentencing Hearing Scheduled For Thursday

Seventeen-year-old rapper Chief Keef is in jail this morning after a Cook County juvenile court judge in Illinois ruled that the rapper violated his probation during an interview with Pitchfork in Summer 2012, Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Keef (real name: Keith Cozart) was sentenced to 18 months of probation in January 2012 after he was convicted of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon for pointing a gun at Chicago police officers. The terms of this probation required Keef to stay away from firearms, but last Summer the rapper was filmed holding and using guns at a New York firing range as …
