BREAKING: Chad Gilbert Shocked On Stage By Microphone; Collapses

Purevolume is reporting that Chad Gilbert, lead guitarist of New Found Glory was electrically shocked onstage at a performance in Anaheim, California this evening.

Word comes from a photographer in attendance who explains that a faulty microphone at Chain Reaction sent Gilbert to the floor and, subsequently, backstage.

New Found Glory was playing the venue this evening in the first of two audio captured performances that would comprise a live album.

After collapsing, Gilbert was taken backstage while the rest of the band performed without him. The audience was informed that the musician was ok, but would not be …

Whoa. The Chariot have never been a band to attempt anything that was outside of their means. They’ve always stuck to what they do best: their live show.

So with that said, here is the Atlanta quartet’s chaotic video off of their highly praised One Wing album that was released this past August, “Forget”. The video was recorded at Southern California’s Chain Reaction while the band was on For Today‘s unshakeable tour.

Set Your Goals Postpones SoCal Holiday Show; Band Releases Statement

It is with much dismay that we here at UTG announce that Set Your Goals will be postponing their upcoming holiday show at Los Angeles’ Chain Reaction this Friday, December 7. The decision was made because of vocalist Jordan Brown’s recently ruptured achilles tendon from Sunday’s show. Rest assured that the band’s loyal Southern Californian fans will still have a show to attend in the future, once Brown has been cleared to actually move around at shows (because let’s face it: watching somebody sing in a wheelchair is boring).

Lightening rod lead singer, Jonny Craig (Dance Gavin Dance) recently performed a cover of the Weeknd’s hit, “Rolling Stone” at a recent set at Chain Reaction. The stop is the second on Craig’s “I’m sober, please see me” mini-tour.
