Candy Hearts Premiere New Single, “I Miss You”

Candy Hearts have premiered “I Miss You,” the first single from their upcoming third album, All the Ways You Let Me Down. The song reinforces the New Jersey group’s penchant for writing sunny pop punk with hints of melancholy hiding below the surface, and you can stream it right now over at Alternative Press.

Like their 2012 EP, The Best Ways To Disappear, the new full-length was recorded with New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert, and it will be released on June 10 through Gilbert’s Violently Happy Records, an imprint of Bridge Nine Records.

Remember when Under The Gun Review posted up the old Rage Against The Machine full sets from the early nineties? Well, we are back today with more legendary performances from the decade’s powerhouse Shai Hulud.

Shai Hulud footage from their July 18, 1996 at Cheers in Miami, Florida has surfaced. What makes this performance so enormous is that this was Chad Gilbert’s very first show on vocals at the young age of 15.

Chad Gilbert Blogs About Last Night’s Incident

In case you’ve missed all the buzz, Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory was electrocuted last night by a faulty mic while the band was recording their set for a live DVD. He was released from the hospital earlier today so naturally he quickly went online to let fans know what happened. You can read what he had to say by taking a look below the jump. We’re glad to announce that in wake of last night’s news of Chad Gilbert being electrocuted from a microphone during one of two performances at Anaheim, California’s Chain Reaction for New Found Glory‘s upcoming live album, the guitarist has now been released from the hospital.

BREAKING: Chad Gilbert Shocked On Stage By Microphone; Collapses

Purevolume is reporting that Chad Gilbert, lead guitarist of New Found Glory was electrically shocked onstage at a performance in Anaheim, California this evening.

Word comes from a photographer in attendance who explains that a faulty microphone at Chain Reaction sent Gilbert to the floor and, subsequently, backstage.

New Found Glory was playing the venue this evening in the first of two audio captured performances that would comprise a live album.

After collapsing, Gilbert was taken backstage while the rest of the band performed without him. The audience was informed that the musician was ok, but would not be …

Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory is taking his solo project, What’s Eating Gilbert, on the road this April.

The predominantly East Coast tour will start in Newport, Kentucky on April 12, making its way to New England before heading south, ending in Nashville, Tennessee on April 25.

Joining Gilbert on this tour will be The Here And Now (featuring Alan Day of Four Year Strong) and Diamond Youth on select dates.

Pentimento is never not working towards their next goal. After announcing their plans to release their album in Japan, they’ve now announced the March Radness Tour with Candy Hearts and Allison Weiss. What’s Eating Gilbert, also known as Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory, will be opening for all California dates. With only two songs released so far from their 2013 follow-up to 2008′s Misanthropy Pure, Shai Hulud doesn’t seem to have lost any steam in their constant efforts to outdo themselves. The legendary progressive hardcore (or whatever genre-snobs want to label them) band recorded Reach Beyond The Sun with their original vocalist Chad Gilbert (New Found Glory) in early 2012, and now they are finally ready to share their fourth release on February 19 through Metal Blade Records.
