As I Lay Dying are keeping the hype surrounding their new material alive and well this morning with the release of a lyric video for “Cauterize.” By now you are well aware of what a proper lyric video involves, so instead of playing you a fool I will simply say that the artwork for this release continues to be badass. “Cauterize” is a great track and fans of AILD need to give it a dozen or more spins. June 25th, 2012 James Shotwell Metal act As I Lay Dying have unleashed a new single that, for a limited time, is available on UTG as a FREE DOWNLOAD. Cauterize, which the band released earlier this morning on their official website, is the first new material to debut from AILD in 2012. Our guess is that the track serves as the starting point for the band’s push toward their next release, Awakened, but that remains to be seen. For now, just click past the jump and enjoy a heavy dose of (FREE) metal.
