Today, May 24, Tom Six and a crew of people with (hopefully) strong stomachs begin production on the long-gestating final installment of the now infamous Human Centipede franchise. Just days ago we brought you word the film would be shot in Los Angeles, and this morning we have a few new production details to share.

According to a source who spoke exclusively with Bloody-Disgusting, it seems the final piece of The Human Centipede saga will take place (and be filmed in) a prison. No further plot details slipped out just yet, but we are foaming from our horror-loving mouths …

It has been said for years that the golden age of 80′s teen films, namely those created by John Hughes, would not make it out of the era of remakes without incident. Today we learn that saying is indeed true, and something tells me this is only the beginning.

PITCH PLEASE: Universal Planning ‘Pitch Perfect’ Sequel For 2015

In a turn of unusual events, Universal has announced they are currently developing a Pitch Perfect sequel tentatively planned for a 2015 release.

Released back in 2012, the theatrical debut of Pitch Perfect was far from what you would call an opening weekend deserving of praise. Mark Hamill in the Talks to Reprise his Role as Luke Skywalker in New Star Wars Film

Not surprising but nevertheless exciting: the hero of the original Star Wars trilogy, Mark Hamill, is in the talks to return to his character of Luke Skywalker in the newest Star Wars film. According to Entertainment Weekly, Hamill has been waiting to meet with writer Michael Ardnt and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy about what his involvement would be like in the film, but everyone has been really busy because, you know, they’re in the process of making a new Star Wars film and things get hectic.

Star Trek 2 villain is NOT Khan

In an interview with The Telegraph, Simon Pegg has squashed rumors that Sherlock star and Tumblr favorite Benedict Cumberbatch would be playing Khan in the upcoming Star Trek sequel.

“It’s not Khan. That’s a myth. Everyone’s saying it is, but it’s not. I think people just want to have a scoop.”

Keep in mind, this is coming from the same actor who also stated he wasn’t going to be in Mission: Impossible III.
