Today, May 24, Tom Six and a crew of people with (hopefully) strong stomachs begin production on the long-gestating final installment of the now infamous Human Centipede franchise. Just days ago we brought you word the film would be shot in Los Angeles, and this morning we have a few new production details to share.

DAMMIT: Universal Moving Forward With ‘Weird Science’ Remake

It has been said for years that the golden age of 80′s teen films, namely those created by John Hughes, would not make it out of the era of remakes without incident. Today we learn that saying is indeed true, and something tells me this is only the beginning.

Today Universal confirmed that they are currently developing a remake of the popular teen sci-fi comedy Weird Science. The story follows two nerds who scientifically engineer what they believe to be the “perfect” woman. Michael Bacall, who previously helped Universal go to the bank with an R-rated remake of 21

PITCH PLEASE: Universal Planning ‘Pitch Perfect’ Sequel For 2015

In a turn of unusual events, Universal has announced they are currently developing a Pitch Perfect sequel tentatively planned for a 2015 release.

Released back in 2012, the theatrical debut of Pitch Perfect was far from what you would call an opening weekend deserving of praise. The film performed average (at best) both domestically and abroad, but later managed to find an audience and dedicated fanbase after gifs and screenshots began flooding Tumblr (along with other social media outlets). It was the kind of film people discovered through word of mouth, which is harder to accomplish these days than the …

Well now that we have a director confirmed, it’s time for an onslaught of casting rumors. Latino Review (who all things considered is a relatively trustworthy source) has announced that director J.J. Abrams has confirmed Harrison Ford to reprise his role as Han Solo in the next installment in the Stars Wars series.

Now, I know most Star Wars fans are hyperventilating, and I just caught my breath too. But until I hear it directly from Disney themselves, I’m going to take every rumor with a huge grain of salt. However this casting rumor isn’t totally unreasonable. Harrison Ford has …

Lebron James “Wishes” He Could Star in “Space Jam 2″

Few crossover films ever really work, but somehow Michael Jordan’s spin in Space Jam has continued to be a cherished family film for over a decade. Maybe it’s the soundtrack, maybe it’s the animation, but something about the concept of athletes joining forces with beloved cartoons has proven to be box office gold and honestly, we’re shocked a headline such a this has not surfaced before now.

Responding to a fan’s question via his official Twitter last night, NBA star Lebron James expressed a desire to one day fill MJ’s shoes in a Space Jam sequel. He tweeted:
