Kanye West, Liam Neeson, Tina Fey & More Added To ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’

The return of Ron Burgundy and his news team is arguably the most anticipated comedy event of 2013. Production for the December release is currently underway, and recently a number of celebrities have been seen on set that were previously unannounced for the film.

Kanye West was spotted shooting scenes in Atlanta earlier this week alongside Anchorman: The Legend Continues stars Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate. The three were reportedly filming on a rooftop somewhere in the city, but no further details about his appearance or how it will play into the plot have been revealed.

West is not the …

Mark Hamill in the Talks to Reprise his Role as Luke Skywalker in New Star Wars Film

Not surprising but nevertheless exciting: the hero of the original Star Wars trilogy, Mark Hamill, is in the talks to return to his character of Luke Skywalker in the newest Star Wars film. According to Entertainment Weekly, Hamill has been waiting to meet with writer Michael Ardnt and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy about what his involvement would be like in the film, but everyone has been really busy because, you know, they’re in the process of making a new Star Wars film and things get hectic.

That being said, Hamill is really interested in putting his jedi cloak back …

RUMOR: Roster and Character Descriptions For ‘Justice League’ Revealed

I know everyone is still excited for the plethora of superhero films coming out in 2013, but let’s skip ahead a bit and begin talking 2015 Summer blockbusters. Competing against Avengers 2 for box office domination will be Warner Bros. first outing with their own superhero collective, DC Comics’ Justice League, and this morning a rumored roster (character list) for the film began making the rounds across various film blogs.

For the record, everything that follows is still very much considered a rumor. Until DC or Warner Bros step forward and say otherwise (which they’ll likely never do), …

Lebron James “Wishes” He Could Star in “Space Jam 2″

Few crossover films ever really work, but somehow Michael Jordan’s spin in Space Jam has continued to be a cherished family film for over a decade. Maybe it’s the soundtrack, maybe it’s the animation, but something about the concept of athletes joining forces with beloved cartoons has proven to be box office gold and honestly, we’re shocked a headline such a this has not surfaced before now.

Responding to a fan’s question via his official Twitter last night, NBA star Lebron James expressed a desire to one day fill MJ’s shoes in a Space Jam sequel. He tweeted:

DAMMIT: Miss Spoof Films? Don’t Worry, “The Starving Games” Are On The Way!

The talk of the Mayan calendar foretelling the end of the world has been disproven by countless scientists, but this morning’s movie news does affirm our belief that humanity is slipping ever closer to the edge of extinction.

Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the two guys who struck gold with Scary Movie over a decade ago before turning their (lack of) writing talents to parodying every genre and major feature they could craft a poop joke around, have announced they are beginning work on a parody film based off The Hunger Games entitled, The Starving Games. Peter Safran will …

DAMMIT: “Raging Bull 2″ Begins Production This Summer

Lots of cool remakes and sequels have been funneling through the pipeline recently, so it only makes sense that a bad decision or two would make the cut. Call me crazy, but the decision to green light Raging Bull 2 was one such mistake.

Moviehole has the exclusive, which reveals Raging Bull II plans to chart the early days of Jake LaMotta’s life, and then pick up again in the days after the end of Scorsese’s film. De Niro will not reprise his role as LaMotta, which already makes me weary, but legendary actor William Forsyth has stepped up to …

HOLY SH!T: Hornswoggle Is The New “Leprechaun,” Theatrical Release Planned

Twenty years after the original debuted in theaters, WWE films is planning to reboot the Leprechaun series with a star of their own.

Hitting theaters in March 2013 (Someone has to cash in on St. Patty’s Day at the box office, right?), WWE Films version of Leprechaun will star Hornswoggle, AKA David Postl, in the role original made famous by Warwick Davis. At this time, no director or plot details are available, but the studio has already contracted Postl for a sequel.

Before the internet surely loses its shit, think about just how “sacred” you truly consider the Leprechaun
